Christmas Sentiments Three Ways

Hi friends! Today I'm popping in to share a bit of inspiration with the new Christmas Sentiments set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

For this card I started with a background I had created previously with a clean up print  using the Peppermint Stripe Stencil. I then stamped the large flower from Poinsettia Greetings on the panel and on some white cardstock.

I colored the white cardstock image with alcohol markers then fussy cut along the edge and attached to the striped panel and cut off the excess. The sentiment was then embossed in black in the corner and I finished off with a red mat and some sparkly enamel dots.

My second card today pairs the fun Christmas Cookies set with a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments set. I colored the images with Alcohol markers and then cut them out. The sentiment frame is from the Decorative Frames set and cut with the coordinating dies. I colored it in with alcohol markers, then embossed the sentiment in white and used a white paint pen to add some "snow".  Papers were from my stash and I finished with a little green striped bow.

My third card uses the Peppermint Stripe Stencil over a watercolored background.  I embossed the sentiment in rose gold, then added a candy cane image from my Holiday Cheer set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day!

Grad Card Three Ways

Hi friends! I'm popping in today with a few graduation cards featuring the new Way to Go stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. One set, three ways.

For this first card, I was scrolling through pinterest and saw a bunch of mushroom images watercolored with all colors of the rainbow.  I decided I wanted to give it a go. I haven't done anything but color with Copics for a while, so it was fun pulling out my Kuretake Real Brush Clean Color markers.

I started by stamping the grad hat from Way to Go in no line fadeout ink, then masking it off and stamping the flowers from the My Savior's Love set.  I then used the markers in a rainbow of colors, blending with a waterbrush to get that rainbow feel.  Once I was done with that, I pulled off the mask and watercolored the hat and tassel.

I chose a gel print clean up page I had in my stash to lay the image down and then embossed the Congratulations sentiment in black below the image.  I chose another background from my stash to mat it, and finished off with a teal card base.

Next up is a mini slimline card.  I stamped the hat from Way to Go, then masked it off and stamped the girl from A Little Snarky.  I colored with copics, then cut out with my Brother Scan 'n Cut. I love that the Way to Go Die Set cuts out most of the sentiments, making it easy to layer the sentiment and diploama below.  A little patterned paper and a few enamel dots and I was done.

The final card combines the Way to Go set with the Decorative Frames set.  I first stamped the frame in red ink, then cut with the coordinating die. Next I stamped the stars from Way to Go in either corner.  The we're so proud of you sentiment is die cut and popped up in the center. I added the diploma image in the corner.  A couple of red designer paper prints finish off the layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a fabulous start to your week!

Love Ya Lots

Hi friends! I'm back today with another installment in my You & Me three different ways series. First up I colored the peas & carrots image (masking off the faces again) with copic colors in a pink/green and yellow/orange combo to match the paper.  I then cut with a circle die and matted with pink cardstock.

Next I pulled out the Hugs & Kisses Stencil, and blended with yellow ink.  I stamped the Love ya Lots sentiment from Much Love over the top, then cut and matted with circle dies.  I used the Scallop Border dies again on both sides of my horizontal strip, then stamped the Happy Valentine's sentiment from You & Me, directly on the patterned paper. A few little rhinestones finish things off.

So what do you think, do you like seeing the same stamp set used multiple times, or do you prefer new sets every time? Let me know in the comments. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Love Ya - Coffee

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! It's a great day because today is the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Valentine Inspiration Hop over on Instagram.  The creative team and friends are all sharing Valentine inspiration showcasing SNSS stamps. And there's a comment prize up for grabs. All the fun starts over on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Instagram page.

For my card, I grabbed the You & Me stamp set again. I can never resist a coffee image.  I colored it up with Copic markers, then cut and matted with some circle dies.  I had a bit of fun with this patterned paper, adding a scallop border to the side of the vertical strip using the Scallop Border Dies.  I added the love ya sentiment to a Hearts die cut, then matted with another heart die cut. I added one more heart die cut over on my image panel, then finished off with a bit of grosgrain ribbon and a few rhinestones. After all, it don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that bling! (grin) And I just realized one of my blings drooped a little before the photo! Eek... droopy bling! I don't have access to my craft room where this card is, so I'll just have to shake my head, and fix it on the card before I send it out!

I hope you have a wonderful day, and if you have a little time, I know you'll be in for a treat if you hop along with all the other gals today!

We Go Together

Hi friends! Happy 2023! I know it's been 2023 for a while already, but we just got back from vacation, so it feels like the start of the year to me.

Today I'm sharing a sweet little valentine featuring the You & Me stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. One of my goals this year is to spend less on new stamps, and use what I have. This month I'll be featuring this You & Me set three different ways. When I sat down to stamp, I tasked myself with making more of a masculine type valentine. I figured black & white, with a pop of red would be a great jumping off point.  So I started by masking the faces off the salt & pepper shakers, then stamped and colored the image.  I fussy cut and layered onto a heart shaped die cut, then embossed the salt & pepper words onto black cardstock.

I did a little more masking to get just the go together like stamped on the white cardstock, then added the we with die cuts from the Boss Lady Alpha.  A few heart rhinestones and this valentine is ready to roll. This month's VIP challenge theme is hearts, so come play along if you have some crafty time.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm going to be a little sparse this month as we're having our floors repaired and there's a good portion of the month I won't have access to my craft room. I've set aside a small box of limited supplies, so we'll see if the creative mood strikes. If you don't see me before then, I'll definitely be back next Wednesday, January 18, with a card for the upcoming Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Instagram Hop.

Hope you're having a wonderful start to the new year!
