TCP Tuesday 363

Hi friends! It's time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge and this month's theme is Holiday! Any November, December, or January holiday works, so come play along!😁 Here are the challenge details...

Each month a new challenge is posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and Facebook page.
  • To play along, upload your design to the Inlinkz link up on The Cat’s Pajamas blog
  • The Cat’s Pajamas products are NOT required, but we do LOVE to see them!
  • Winner is announced the first Tuesday of the following month and will receive a $50 gift voucher to The Cat's Pajamas store.
For today's card I'm making spirits bright with some non-traditional holiday colors. I colored up this sweet unicorn from Grab the Unicorn, then got to work getting inky for the rest of the card.

I pulled out some Glitz and Glamour Sparkle Inks and used the packaging technique to smoosh a fun background onto marker paper. When I had it like I wanted it, I die cut the Peace Love Joy CutUps and the snowflakes from the Joyeux Noel CutUps.

I then inked up the trees from Nature's Christmas Tree with coordinating colors of Glitz and Glamour Sparkle Brush pens and then used an aquabrush to blend the color out into the tree form. Next I stamped the tree patterns and the tree outlines in watermark ink and embossed with white. I cut these out and then layered with the snowflakes and unicorn to create a little scene.

I finished off by adding all the elements to a card base embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder, then topping the card with a bit of ribbon and some jingle bells.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! For more inspiration from the TCP design team, click on over to the Cat Pack links on the sidebar to see what everyone created for the challenge! I hope you find a little time this month to play along!
