2016 Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Hi there! It's Seasons Givings Blog Hop time again and I'm so excited to be participating again this year. I'm just a few days shy of 10 years of blogging here at Poetic Artitstry and am so grateful for all the friends I have made here over the years. Sharing inspiration is something I love to do and I am so blessed by those of you who take the time to send your support in comments, emails, cards and orders. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've also been blessed with a husband who supports my creative endeavors and doesn't mind an entire room of the house devoted just to papercraft things lined up in rainbow order.  So I have an overflowing treasure trove of goodness in my stamp room, and new stuff from Santa to put away! I'm offering up the following giveaways as a thanks to all of you for your support and friendship. Here's to a bright and shiny 2017!

To enter my giveaway, leave me a comment telling me your favorite saying, quote, billboard, ad, commercial, etc.

I'll go first... in downtown Boise this holiday season there's a billboard that says, "In a world where you can be anything, be kind. Happy holidays."  I love it so much and smile everytime I see it.  Okay, on with the giveaways...

Giveaway 1 {winner must have a US shipping address}

This box includes 9 months of Paper Pumpkin kits, May 2015 through January 2016.  All stamps and papers are unused. Also includes a Paper Pumpkin stamp storage case for the stamp sets (not shown in photo). The mini ink pads are not included as they were immediately assimilated into my treasure trove.

Giveaway 2 {US & International winners welcome}

My second giveaway is a $75 gift code to my shop, Verve Stamps. We've got our year end clearance sale going on through January 3, plus save an additional 15% off your order with gift code GBUY16.

Comment deadline for the prize drawing is 8:00 pm Mountain on Monday, January 9.  Please check back on Jan. 10 to see if you are a winner.

Here are a few of my favorite makes from the first half of 2016....

January Favorite: Wallpaper Love
February Favorite: A Brighter World
March Favorite: Watercolor Bunny
April Favorite: Always Blessed Card Concept
May Favorite: Beautiful Card Concept
June Favorite: Life Happens Mixed Medai

 If you're new here and like what you see, I'd love for you to subscribe to my blog over there in the sidebar.  You can also find me on Instagram at www.instagram.com/vervegirl.

Happy hopping and happy new year!  Next up on the hop is Lee Murphy.

Comment question is:  What is your favorite saying, quote, billboard, ad, commercial, etc.?

My favorite quote is by Albert Einstein: Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. Love that!

Thanks for all you share with us! There is a fun restaurant in our town whose saying is, "This is a happy place! If you're crabby, go home!"

My favourite ads are the Geico commercials. Love the little gecko, but otherwise I find their ads without the gecko so funny.

It's not a positive ad (so sad) but I do think the ASPCA or Humane Society ads with the dogs make people think and therefore will hopefully do more to stop the abuse of animals. On the other hand, I do love the funny stamp sayings. Thanks so much for the chance to win either of these 2 awesome gifts - WOW!

Wow, it is so fun to discover your blog. I was raised in Boise, and still have many family members living there, I now live in Virginia, but Boise is still "home" to me. One of my favorite quotes:
Life is like a CAMERA. You FOCUS on what's important, CAPTURE the good times, DEVELOP from the negative, and if things don't work out, TAKE ANOTHER SHOT.

Your cards are always a delight! I don't get over here often enough to tell you so, but I am never disappointed when I do have a chance to stop by!
My fav saying: Don't worry. A raisin is a worried grape. Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!
Looking forward to more fab inspiration from you in the coming year!

Happy new year! Your cards are gorgeous and I first found out about Verve stamps through the coffee lovers blog hop. (Thanks for the freebie digi!) I find myself using the word "try" a lot (I'll try to get that done... / I'll try and let you know how it goes...), so this year, my quote will be Yoda's "Do, or do not, there is no try" :)

thank you for sharing the billboard quote. I'm going to make it in a pretty font, and add it to a shaker piece to go inside my planner! And hope your give-away was successful! Hope this year gives you joy!
