With All Your Heart Viva la Verve

Hi friends! It's the first Friday of a new month and that means its time for a new card sketch from me over on the Viva la Verve blog.

My sample card uses a sentiment from the Love From Me DIGITAL Set.  I had some fun with designer paper, matting everything with espresso, because it's like enveloping something in LOVE.  {grin}

The digi sentiment is printed on my laser printer on white cardstock, then colored with Copic markers and accented with glossy glaze and glitter.  The heart border is one of my favorites from the Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set and I used some of the remaining heart cut outs to spruce up my aqua panel.  Finished off with some liquid pearls on the scallops and a seam binding bow.

Day 1 July Release Blog Hop

Today, we're shining our sneaky little spotlights on the Always Time stamp set and coordinating Kettle Time Die Set. Talk about coffee loving goodness!  I'm smitten with this set, especially the retro style coffee/tea cups and kettles. I'm sure this set will be staying on my desk for quite some time!

For my card, I chose two of the cup images and stamped them each 2 times and colored with Copics. I then cut them with the coordinating dies from the Kettle Time Die Set.  Next I took a pre-made white tag and stamped the hope this perks you up sentiment in onyx black.  I snipped off the end of the tag to make it fit my card, then brought in a hint of the scallops on the cups with a die from the Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set.  I also used this same die to edge my aqua paper scrap and added a couple strips of orange papers to add a little oomph to the layout.  I finished the tag with some orange taffeta ribbon and then layered the cups on the tag.  The card base is embossed with stars for just a hint of starry texture.
