Holly Christmas

Hi friends! Today I'm popping in to share a couple of cards I created with the gorgeous new Holly Christmas Stamp & Die Bundle from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Holly is one of my favorite Christmas images, and when I saw these stamps, I just couldn't wait to color them up.

My first card takes a classy approach with lots of white space. I embossed the Pinecone Background white on white in the background, then added a couple of the large holly leaves from Holly Christmas colored with copics and then cut with the coordinating dies.  The sentiment uses the Peace & Joy Word Dies. I cut the word from gold foil cardstock, then layered on a few additional die cuts for thickness.  I then glued this to the outline that was cut from vellum cardstock.  I layered everything together, added a gold mat, and finished off with a few shiny enamel dots.

My second card take a shabby approach.  I have some paper pads I just love, and this Prima one from a few years back always calls to me at Christmas.  I colored up the holly images in pinks to match, then added the sentiment embossed directly onto a piece of the patterned paper.  I did a little blending with antique linen ink to create a cohesive vintage look, then glued everything together.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day!
