When the boys were in school the other day, I found a little time to play with some new to me goodies! I started this card with the Slim Line Radial stencil from Picket Fence, grabbing the distress oxides that were on my desk from another project. I blended with squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, shaded lilac, wilted violet, and black soot. When it was done, I felt like I wanted a bit more texture, so I laid down the stencil again, and used an oval die cut to mask off part of the background so I could apply embellishment mousse to the outer two rings on either end.
While that was drying, I colored in the cake and mummy truffle from the Halloween Sweets stamp set from Sassy & Crafty. I then fussy cut the images, and added stickles and some googly eyes for embellishment. I cut the No tricks just treats sentiment in two pieces and matted with black cardstock. I then added some bat stickers and some purple sequins around the card and splattered black ink all over the background. The colored images were added on dimensional foam tape to finish things off.
