The other day, Korin shared a card with the Psalm 23 Background and it totally inspired me to try it out. She used watercolors, but I chose some colors of distress oxide to do some smooshing on watercolor paper, then stamped over the panel repeatedly with the Psalm 23 Background. Next I added in a little sponging with Antique Linen distress oxide and roughed up the edges with a paper distresser.
I had already stamped colored and cut the flower, leaf sprig and the cross from Rustic Easter. I didn't want to cover up too much of that lovely background, so I cut down the cross image to just the nails and mounted on foam tape over a die cut vellum circle. The sentiment is added on white cardstock, then I layered my florals together and finished off with a seam binding bow. I just love how this card turned out!

Oh what an exquisite Easter card Julee - love it! Your background is fabulous, and keeping the flowers and cross to a minimum was perfect.

This is such a beautiful Easter card! The 23rd Psalm is the perfect background, especially the way you colored it on watercolor paper!
