STAMPtember + Hero Arts

Hi friends, I'm super excited to be sharing projects with today's exclusive Stamptember set from Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp! During the month of September, Simon Says Stamp debuts a wide assortment of collaborative products, partnering with all sorts of fabulous papercraft companies. It’s a huge month long celebration of all things stamp related! Today, Simon has released the new Hero Arts STAMPtember exclusive, Real Flowers Vintage.

Real Vintage Flowers is a beautiful set of silhouette imagery and scripted sentiments that pair perfectly with blended ink backgrounds.

For my first card, I wanted to do a fun purple sky vignette, so started by blending some Hero Arts Reactive inks in berry smoothie, thistle and grape slush on smooth bristol.  I then spritzed with water and then flicked on some white glimmer metallic ink.  Next I stamped some of the silhouette images across the bottom of the panel in Intens-ified Black ink.  I then blended chalkboard ink around the edges, swiping a baby wipe around the inner circle to give a swirling effect.  I then embossed the thank you sentiment in white and added some more flecks of glimmer metallic ink.  This panel is popped up on dimensional foam, skewed inside a black frame cut with two of the Rectangle Infinity Dies and then accented with purple enamel dots.

For my next card, I wanted a night sky, so started by cutting a circle mask from a full stick post-it note with a Circle Infinity die.  Then I used the negative to blend squeezed lemonade and dried marigold for the moon.  I then pulled that off and masked with the circle, blending the top half in various blues and the bottom in greens, blending them into each other.  I then stamped the silhouette images all around and did some flicking of both water and white glimmer metallic ink.  The sentiment is stamped on a rectangle die cut, with the dandelion image next to it. I softly blended color into it, then matted with black cardstock and then accented a few of the flower centers with dots of white glimmer metallic ink.

For my final card day, I just wanted a strip of focal panel, so used post-its to mask off a strip of white cardstock and then blend fired brick, spiced marmalade and mustard seed across the strip.  Next I stamped over this with the silhouette images , then spritzed with water and dotted the flower centers with bronze glimmer metallic ink.  I peeled off the mask, stamped the sentiment and then matted with chestnut cardstock.  The sand card base is embossed with a Spellbinders embossing folder and I finished off with a few enamel dot accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've been inspired by my makes with this gorgeous new set. It's exclusive to Simon Says Stamp and only available while supplies last, so don't delay if this one looks like a must-have for you!
