I started with the Grid Stitches Tag Confetti Cuts, cutting it a few times in coordinating papers from the Winter Solstice 6 x 6 pad. I folded at one of the perforated lines to make a pocket, then adhered the little pocket on the three edges with some 1/8" double sided adhesive tape. This tag die perfectly fits standard sized gift cards, but I had these little coffee cup shaped ones from last year and thought they looked too cute not to use. I saw that this year's shaped design has pink and red stripes and would look fabulous with this line of paper, as well!
The cup image is from the new Drink More Coffee set (L💓VE) and I stamped and colored with copic markers. I used a fadeout no line coloring ink pad for the stripes so I'd know where to color. It's cut with the coordinating Drink More Coffee Confetti Cuts and I punched a hole through the space in the handle to tie to my ornament/tag. The coffee is done with the coffee word die from the Drink More Confetti Cuts. I cut it from fun foam and also a couple layers of paper to pop it up. For this second tag, I wanted a little more pop, so cut a little insert from coordinating paper to tuck behind the gift card.
For embellishment, I painted a few wooden chipboard pieces from my stash with some coordinating Shimmerz paints. The chipboard words are cut from last year's Idea-ology Chipboard quotes. (This year's version is red with white lettering, but has the same words in it.) I finished with a few more accents from my growing stash of Christmas embellies. To reinforce the holders, I matted with coordinating cardstock and then rounded the corners with a corner chomper.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope these little makes have inspired you! I sure had fun making them!
