Christmas Wreath

Hi friends! It's been a busy week here on the old blog! I'm popping back in today with a card I made with the Winter Wreath November My Monthly Hero Add-ons. Add-ons can always be purchased separately as they are added to Hero Arts replenished inventory line.  The kits themselves are not restocked and the November kit is SOLD OUT already! There's still a chance to win the sold out November kit by commenting on the November Blog Hop + Giveaway. Deadline is Sunday, November 11.

I started by placing a square piece of cardstock in my mini MISTI and then adding the wreath image in the center. Next I stamped using Pine liquid watercolor ink and a waterbrush a couple times, then rotated my paper and stamped again, repeating until I'd stamped from all directions for a nice watercolor filled in leafy look. I then die cut this panel with a circle die.

Next I wanted to do a bit of coloring, so stamped a bunch of poinsettias and the bow from Winter Wreath and watercolored with Strawberry liquid watercolors.  When they were dry, I die cut with the coordinating Winter Wreath Frame Cuts and then stamped and die cut a few leaves to tuck in.

The sentiment is stamped in Victorian Velvet distress oxide ink, then I sponged around the edges of some Santa Baby paper for a nice rosy glow.  After that, all that was left was layering it all together, and adding some flower centers and pink pearls to accent the wreath.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous start to your weekend!

Pretty! I like the pink-ish shade that’s not super traditional.
