Starry Pumpkin

Hi friends!  It's Friday already and that means it's time for another Viva la Verve sketch.  This week's sweet little sketch comes from Charmaine.  I couldn't resist using the same collection of cute papers I used on my card for the Diva Inspirations Hop yesterday.

I started by embossing the pumpkin and Halloween sentiment from Boo to You in white on black paper, then sponging lightly with a white pigment ink for a chalky look.  I looped some chevron ribbon, then tied with a bit of scrappers floss and accented with two stars cut with the Starry Die.  I used my go to embossing folder, then glued down my floss ends for some loopy loops.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  If you haven't already, be sure to check out the NEW shaker mixes Verve just released.  Hope you have a great weekend!  I'm hoping for accommodating 3 year olds who will let me enjoy Art in the Park this weekend. Wish me luck!
