«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 563 of 563Wow what did I like the best of 2008? I learned to except life for what it is and that no matter how much I wish it were different or what it would be like if my husband had not had a stroke, it doesn't change the way it is. Stamping helps me to de-stress and let's my mind go to somewhere other than the everyday circumstances. In regards to stamping I love my nesties and used them quite a bit this year. Thanks for sharing such great blog candy!
wowzer, supah candy!! and congrats!!!! fave things this year are: living closer to my mom, my kiddos, my dh, my cuttlebug, nesties, and our new home.
well I hope 403 is a lucky number;o)
This year has been the best year of my life. My love for crafting grew to new hieghts and has introduced me to people I cant imagine life without.
For them I'm thankful.
Happy Blogaversary and Wow on the amazing candy!!
Best things in 2008:
*Spending time with Family & Friends
*Going on a cruise to the Big Island
*Finding wonderful blogs like yours
*Getting new Stamping toys
My Favorite things this year were discovering Copics, Nestabilities and finding out I'm going to be a grandmother!!!
Nothing major has happened this year, but I guess I could say that my favorite things for 2008 was spending time with family and friends. SWISS was fun though...I won Verve's new snowflake set!
One of my favorite things for 2008 is that my hubby and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary. My daughter turned 13 and is a great daughter....Congrats on your 2 year blog anniversary....
My favorite thing this year was watching my daughter become more comfortable in her own skin! I have also fell in love with Copics, Nesties, and many clear stamps.....
Happy blog-aniversary!
Happy Blog-aversary!
I fell in love with stamping! This was my first year at stamping and cardmaking! It has been fun!
One of my favorite memories is always vacations with my dh and 2 ds. We went all the way to Yellowstone - great place!
Thanks for the chance at blog candy!
Ooooh! Congratulations on your 2nd Blogaversary!
New loves for 2008? To keep it short, I'll limit this to papercrafting loves, in no specific order. My Spellbinders Wizard & Nestabilities, Copic Markers, Ranger & Tim Holtz products, and the delicious new scrapping papers available to us!
Happy Holidays!
~Bev
Two of my favorite things that I discovered in 2008 are the Nestabilities and Cuttlebug. I just love what I can create with these wonderful tools. One of the most rewarding times for me this year is when I helped my dear friend, Kay put together gift bags for her first annual Sistah 2 Sistah program. This was a gathering for women to come together and celebrate each other and I am glad she gave me the opportunity to help with it.
Congratulations on your 2nd year blog anniversary. A few of my favorite things are: baking Christmas cookies with my 30 year old daughter, which is a tradition we started when she was very small, sitting in my big chair with all three of my dogs on my lap cuddling, my husband who is very supportive and looks after all kinds or housework stuff when I am working, as far as crafting goes I am absolutely in love with the Magnoia images and copic markers.
my favorite are the cuttlebug embossing folders.
Love my children & family, new baby added, all is well
I fell in love with colouring again this year after Colleen's MCC class. My other special moment was seeing my niece in a show on a London stage a few weeks ago.
I'm currently working in a "STRATEGIES" classroom with 8 preschool boys with different levels of Autism. Doing this makes me appreciate my children and the fact that they are both happy and healthy. It makes me really happy when we reach a milestone with one of the boys. I'm loving Nestabilities and my Big Shot this year. Congrats on your two years...I've really enjoyed your blog. Thanks for the chance to win some "candy". Cheryl L.
Happy 2nd Blogaversary ! I also fell in love with Copics and Nesties and really enjoyed taking the Copic certification class . I have started investing in both Copics and nesties . Also my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and we kids threw them a big party .
Thanks for a chance to win this awesome pile of goodies ! I have really enjoyed visiting you blog this past year !
My best 2008's moments were with my children, growing up so fast. My husband offered me many surprises. One of them was going to Disneyland Paris at Disneyland Hotel (bigger one): a dream come true!Last but not least, I've discovered scrap'friends this year.
This is the year I became obsessed with making cards. I started collecting copic markers and nestabilities. I discovered verve and unity stamps. And I, also, fell under the spell of Twilight. This year I reached my weight watcher goal and got my new best friend, a lab puppy. What a wonderful year! Congratulations on your blog a versary!
I'm so grateful for each and every day my husband and I are still together after his sudden cardiac death and I'm thankful for my job. My great discoveries in 2008 that I'm thrilled about are the wonderful designers' blogs and tutorials that have led me to new techniques and PURCHASES !! I love my new Wizard, Spellbinders Nestabilities and Verve stamp sets and can't wait to add more and more to my stamping stash. Just call me addicted....a stamper for LIFE !!
congrats Julee on a wonderful milestone. For me my fav things are my cuttlebug and nesties. I don't think I do a card or scrapbook page without them. I just received my first set of copic's a week ago and all I can say is wow. I have never stamped so many images just so I can colour.
The one thing that makes me smile the most is watching my 12 niece now make her own cards and albums. For her birthday and christmas I give her a limit to spend and sit her infront of the computer and let her go. I think she is becoming just as addicted to this as I am. It's not so much the joy in making but the joy in giving something handmade to someone you love.
I'm grateful for our family and special friends who have been there especially during these difficult economic times.
I have been enjoying my creative adventures in stamping and scrapbooking and the new friends I have met through the wonderful world of PCP and blogs like yours.
Hugs to you.
Wow! What a fabulous Blog candy you're offering! 2008 - I too got addicted to Nestabilities.. My Son got married, I'm Learning a new job,(same company), I've discovered several new blogs I love to read, I've learned Digital scrapbooking, I've discovered several new stamp companies
The greatest thing that happened this year is that my daughter moved closer to us. Love to spend time with her and family. This year I got a nice supply of Copic markers that I love and also added many nestabilities and JustRite products. Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary.
My favorite new technique I learned this year, was Gamsol Magic. I also finally got my very own Cuttlebug!! I've had a very rough year with 2 deaths in the family, a sick husband (3 times) & both vehicles broke down. I'm very grateful for having my family, health & a good job. Even with all that's happened, I still look at the bright side of things. Congrats on your 2 years! Thanks!
Congrats on 2 years. I have to say I haven't tried the copics yet..very difficult to find in my area but I do love my cuttlebug. Easy and fun with great results.
I love all the inspiration at SCS just wish I had more time to stamp.
Thanks for a chance to win some great prizes.
Wow, 2 year blogaversary! Way cool! Your Verve stamps are way cool as well; I'm getting a nice collection of them! 2008 was a good year for our family, but the best thing would be the success of my Dad's surgery. He has had 2 different types of cancer in 2 years; both of which look to be "cured" at this point. This last bout was a very rare form; the specialist had only seen 2 cases in 30 years! So, I am thankful to have my Dad healthy! Blessings to you!
wow what a COOL blog candy.. I hope I win.. =) Im thanksful for all my stamps I just love using all of them.. and all my nestabilities..LOVE them.. congrats on your two years of bloging!! Merry Christmas..
Happy Blog-a-versary!!! I just started stamping in April of this year... I still have a lot to learn but I am totally enjoying it.
This year has been big! In the paper crafting world, I discovered copics, nestabilities, the CRICUT, and started a blog. I discoverd all these great stamp companies (Verve, PTI, Bellas, and MFT).
Personally, I left one job working FOR someone, and started my OWN practice! I love what I get to do and now get to do it the my way.
Wow! This is a bonanza! Thanks, Julee! This year I fell in love with the Nestabilites! Can you have too many of those? Now it's JustRite stamps or copics, hmmm...
In the circle of life, we have enjoyed watching our boys mature and grow this year. It's been rewarding to see them emerge as kind, respectful, and even witty young men! There's nothing better!
Congratulations on your milestone and Merry Christmas!
Congrats! I can't believe it's been 2 years! I fell in love with copics, my cuttlebug and nesties and my newborn daughter.
Congrats on your 2 year anniversary!
For me, the best thing about 2008 is that we've elected a new President!
I've also returned to one of my very first paper-crafting loves this year ... and am so glad I did!
Congrats again and thanks for all the inspiration, Julee!
~Hugs, Deb
COPICS, Ribbon, designer papers, Dew drops--- and oh so much more--- I love ALL of it! :) Great blog candy?
Happy Anniversary! In 2008 I fell in love with blogs (everyone elses since I don't have one of my own). I love being able to peak inside the creative process of others and am deeply grateful to all the people who share their creativity so willingly. I love your mojo sketches and have been using them to stretch my card making. Thank you!

My favorite thing for 2008 has to be all of the inspiration I found when I discovered all of the wonderful blogs, like yours. You have really fueled my creativity.2008 has also been a good year for my children and that is always the most important!
...Congrats Julee, on two years blogging.
Boy, you're not kidding it is a "Blog Candy Bonanza"
My most fav thing of 2008 was celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and being surrounded by our kids and grandkids.
My second highlight of 2008 was having two cards published in a magazine.
My third highlight is crafting cards with the grandkids and they sell them at church for a church project - they have done so well.
There are many more, but I must say, I have enjoyed so much, meeting some lovely friends on blogging and joining in a few Challenges.
Let's see...I just discovered stamping, card making, and SCS this summer, started a blog just two weeks ago, had great successes with the kids in my classroom (I teach). Congrats on your two years blogging!! You bring so much joy and inspiration to us readers!! Thank you!
We moved to Washington in 2008 and it has been amazing. I am very thankful for new friends and neighbors who have made us feel so welcome. :)
Clear stamps,, I love, love them.
I love our new state, new house, new friends.. I love all the new stamp styles. Good luck with your blog, i love it too.. arcarlough@msn.com
Wow, I learned a lot this year. I too fell in love with copics (althought haven't mastered them quite yet). I worked a lot with glitter and became obsessed with Papertreyink paper/ribbon. Thanks for the chance to win!
loribgrace@comcast.net
My favorite day this past year was meeting my friend Heidi. She's such a huge part of my life now that I wonder how I lived so long without her!
Secondly, this year was special because I began posting cards and participating in challenges. It's helped me to grow and learn so much in such a short time.
I haven't tried Copics yet, but I'm hopeful 2009 might just be the year I give them a try!
Congratulations on your fabulous blog, and thanks always for such wonderful inspiration! May your holidays be merry :)
I fell in love with stamping/crafting blogs this year! A folder on my desktop contains the shortcuts to my favorites....including this one. lol And during the latter half of the year, health scares turned out to be just that...scares.
The love of a Family is Life's greatest blessing.
I walked on a pilgrimage in Spain.
I had a blessed time while in Spain.
thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.
2008's favorite memory was spending a week with my whole family on the lake. My mom was quite sick this year, so getting my siblings and our kids together doesn't happen much in the summer. I will treasure those days for quite awhile.
Thank you for the chance to win such a great blog candy:)
Poetic Artistry is inspiring as well as a favorite site for me to visit regularly. Copics are really new to me but became a favorite quickly! My lovely family and i have to include chocolate in my list of favorites!
Wonderful blog candy! Someone will feel like Santa visited!
Thanks for a great site as well as incredible candy!
Wow, I started 2008 on a cruise with my family, celebrating my son's high school graduation. That was most definitely a highlight as it was such a fun time! It's been a great year of watching my kids blossom! My daughter spent the summer in NYC doing her college internship and is one semester from graduation! My son started college and is playing college baseball! My husband's business has been less than great but it has been so sweet seeing the family pull together to help out. This year has had it's share of ups and downs, but I love being reminded how blessed I truly am!
Another favorite is discovering blogs. I have one - with only 3 entries (haha), but I'm addicted to looking at and reading other people's blogs and seeing their creativity. I've been stamping for about 10 years, but have not been so into it for the last 5. Discovering blogs has helped get me back in the swing! That's a favorite, too! :)
My favorite find this year is probably Versafine ink. It works great with clear stamps!!! And Koh-I-Noor woodless color pencils!!! They are great for blending coloring. Congrat on the 2nd year!!! Shanna
This is the year that my cards took on a whole new dimension thanks to the techniques I've learned using nestabilities, copics, dew drops and glimmerz. I found wonderful blog sites by very talented women like you and the Split coast stampers dirty dozen and alumni. I love Verve stamps and hope Santa got the link I sent to fill my stocking! But most importantly, this is the year that my brother and nephew made it safely home from Iraq. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, family and friends.
I'm happy and grateful for my family and I've taken such joy in watching my daughter learn to read this year. I've also learned to knit, which makes me feel close to my grandmothers since I inherited their needles. I also fell in love with Copics this year and have been trying to make sure I take a little "craft" time every week just to play. All in all, it has been a very good year!
Congratulations on your anniversary. I would have to say that the most exciting thing from this past year was the arrival of my wonderful son Jonathan, we have been waiting quite some time for this little bundle of joy!
OMG Amazing Blog Candy!!!
In 2008, I celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary and had an amazing vaca in Maui.
I collected some new beautiful stamp sets, have found/made more time to play and even made a new friend to share my obsession with. :)
My nephew came home from the war

Congratulations. Thanks for the chance at such great blog candy. I will always remember this year as our first summer in our new house. We purchased a new house which sits on almost 3 acres which was NOT landscaped. So my husband and I have moved dirt, planted trees, flower beds and have spent tons of time and effort trying to get our yard to look great. We are hoping that the next few years our yard will require less time and money. (Because the yard business has definately affected my stamp buying. LOL)
Congrats Julie on 2 fabulous years!!! If I had to mention favorites for 2008, I'd have to say I'm thrilled with the wonderful new stamping friends I've made, and the wonderful new products out there. My favorite product would have to be the new Nestabilities for sure!!
Happy 2 years. The best thing about 2008 is that I survived another year of chemo treatments. The best times have been the ones I've spent with family and friends. I especially love watching my niece grow up.
I just discovered the world of blogging, which has caused my creative juices to start flowing again. I have actually overwhelmed myself with lists of gifts I want to make. I just received my first set of copics and can't wait to start experimenting.

2008 was the year our spare bedroom became my stamping room! I love my retreat, and never tire of sitting at my desk and producing works of art! (Well, they're works of art to me.)
Congrats on your two year blogaversary! 2008 was a difficult year... however, being creative saved my sanity. So I have really enjoyed visiting so many fabulous blogs! Stampin' Up! Convention was wonderful! Really cool creative things are lining up for my future!
In 2008 I had our newest baby boy. I also started stamping and love it! I am still learning but having a blast!
Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2009 to you and your family
Congratulations on your 2-year BLOGiversary! My favorite thing about this year was introducing my granddaughter to stamping (3 years old) with some fun foam stamps. I think I've created a monster! LOL but love every minute of it. Thank you for your inspiring posts and sharing your talents with us!
My favourite things from 2008...my little baby turned one and is no longer my little baby...(well she will always be my baby...) and we are expecting baby #2. Those are the two best things from this year. Can't wait for an exciting 2009. Congrats on two years!
Congrats on your 2 years. Just recently found your blog and have added it to all the others I read each day. Thanks for a chance to win.
DH and I celebrated 47 years together this year-grateful for him and my 2 grown daughters.
Congratulations on your two year blog anniversary. I discovered nestabilities this year, and love them so much. I am so thankful for my wonderful friends and family this year especially. Thank you for all the inspiration, and the chance to win this great candy.

Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary Julee. One of the most significant things in 2008 that I discovered was blogs. The talent out there is so amazing. Everyone is so willing to share also. Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite things in this year are: my younger daughter went in kindergarten, and she liked it :), my older daughter is very good in school...and we have a lot great time together and make some wonderful craft.
Congratulations!! Nothing particularly spectacular happened this past year. I am just grateful for another year with my family.

This year was a good one! I am getting in shape health and weight wise waiting for my transplant! I have worked hard at it and gotten some results. I've met some wonderful talented people through blog land and enjoy visiting them as much as I can. Making cards for others keeps me going,I love doing it,giving them away and enjoy their comments.
Thanks for the chance to win JULIE!
OMG!!! 2008, I have to say has been the rebirth of crafts for me. I have discovered the beautiful world of papercrafting... I am no longer confined to a 12x12 sheet of paper in the land of scrapbooking, I have wondered into new territory, ventured into new countries where there are copics, stamps, nestabilities, felt, pearl ex and border punches!!!!. I have also been introduced to the blogging world. Wow, how intriguing has this been for me. I can actually peek into the many lives of others. People who craft, people who have special needs children like myself and people who help me realize I am not alone in anything that I do. I have been shown that God will test me until I learn to compromise. I have seen that Change is possible, and Change is good. I was told in the beginning of 2008 that the 8 represents changes and new beginnings. Well I am a true believer because I see it and am grateful for all that has happened.....the good and bad!
Wow, congrats on the 2-year milestone :) Some of my favorite things have been actually USING some of my craft supplies ... like my Cuttlebug! Got a few nestabilities to try out, and tried your stamps for the first time (LOVE them!!). Can't wait to see what 2009 will bring.
Oh wow; nice blog candy! I also fell in love with Nesties, Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and Papertrey Ink's stamps (all their products, really!) and just enjoying finding more and more wonderful blogs to enjoy!!!
wow wow CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
I to feel in love with copics too (but I have to wait until Xmas to use mine ..hurry up Santa LOL), fell in love with stamping in the big way .
learn when you start to blog hop time just vanish from you , no time for house work lol .
hugs
joana
Favorite things...definitely the love of family. We move away from our daughter in a few weeks and are cherishing the last days together.
Wonderful blog candy - thakns for the opportunity to win.
Happy Early Blogaversary! Wow, what a celebratory giveaway -- there are almost as many comments as there are goodies in that package (I'm #479 -- wowza!). :)
My second son was born in September, so 2008 was a great year for me! We also enjoyed some fantastically fun times with our three year old, and welcomed another nephew! From a stamping standpoint, I can happily say that 2008 saw me participating in challenges for the first time! Thanks for letting me share, and Happy Holidays!
I suppose my love this year was for the nestabilities. I always seem to find more stamps each year to love also, since I am addicted.
Happy 2nd year blogaversary.
Congratulations Julie on your blogaversary. Three things...the best was having a heart attack. You know all those sayings like "if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger" my favorite is "it gives you a whole new outlook on life." That is so true. I quit smoking (after 38 years) and I stopped drinking all together and I have never been more healthy. I have a great family and I enjoy every day. Melissa
Hello Julee I discovered your blog and many wonderful others like it. I also started selling my crafwork on Etsy. And I`ve just started my own blog. I would love to win this awesome prize. Oh and Happy Blogaversary!
Congrats! I look at your blog with my google reader :) My fav thing would be my copics and Nesties I got this year! and as for family just being with my 2 little boys is so much fun!
Big congrats on 2 years!
What a generous blog candy!
My faves this past year are definitely the nestabilities :0)
Merry Christmas!

Congrats on your blog. I really enjoy your posts.
My favorite things this year have been all of the fun Cuttlebug Embossing folders that came out for Halloween, fall & Christmas.
I've also enjoyed all the wonderful stamping blogs I've discovered this year. Always a fun way to discover new stamps and products and learn new techniques. I look forward to enjoying your future posts
Congrats on your almost 2 year anniversary! The best things that have happened this year... meeting up with some stamping friends, a move, finding a great church, no trips to the ER... We are so blessed!
--Misti
Congratulations ;)
In 2008 I fell in love with Nestabilities and my waterbrush pen. I am very proud to be chosen for 4 design teams, the 11th we celebrated our 25th anniversary in Disneyland which is PRICELESS and I am happy to have found so many dear friends all over the world thru making cards :)
happy Hollidays ;)

Wow, what cool blog candy! Congrats, Julee, on reaching 2 wonderful years! As for the past year, it has been a roller coaster ride with my DH's job but I am so thankful that he has been able to hold on. Other than that, we took a wonderful trip to Florida to visit my in-laws and go to Disney World that was so much fun. I also fell in love with Nesties and Twilight. And I was very excited that my youngest started kindergarten. I'm amazed at how fast the year flew by. Blessings to you in 2009!
One of my favorite things in 2008 was spending a week in Clearwater Florida, visiting my son and his new wife. We had a great time getting to know our new daughter a little better.
Congrats on your blog anniversary.
My favorite tool in 2008 is a two-way tie.....I discovered Cuttlebug & Nestabilities. And someone introduced me to the world of paper crafters on the internet. Oh, boy, have I had lots of fun!
Let's see. I have to say I also feel in LOVE with copics and nestabilities! Your blog in addition to other blogs are also a new love for this year. My kids are getting more and more fun to hang out with (another LOVE) now that they are getting older. Lastly, I have to say moving cross country back toward the east coast where my family lives is also another highlight of this years events. Thanks for such a great BLOG spot. LOVE your work!
Whew! What a loot! Happy Blogaversary!! Best thing about 2008? That our home survived the F3 supercell tornado that ripped through our town (hasn't happened in over 50 years). Thanks for the chance :o)
Bets of 2008:
My 10th wedding anniversary
Starting my paper craft blog:
www.mykraftnook.blogspot.com
finally catching up on me Scrappin!
I would love to win of course. That would join this list!
shaz
my favorite thing in 2008 was lots of little vacations both with and without the family. Just fun relaxation time. In stamping I'm loving copics and nestabilities. The year started with the catastrophic flooding of my craft room but now it's painted Wild Wasabi green with wood flooring and I love it!!
Julee,
You have a GREAT blog, CONGRATULATIONS on 2 incredible years!!! My best things ever and in 2008 was seeing my 2 daughters walking down the isle in February. Stacy, the bride and sister Samantha her Matron of Honor. And seeing Samantha mouth the words "I love you" as Dad and Sis walked up the isle.
I made her wedding invitations!Creating card classes for church, making birth announcements for my nephews twins....it's been a great year!!
My favorite memory from 2008 was a family vacation on which my parents joined us. We had five days without television or telephones. Loved it! Looking forward to seeing all of your creations this next year!
Well, in 2008, I fell in love with STAMPING!! hehe! January 16th was the day I made my first card...:D
Wow! Awesome blog candy, and for such a good reason!
We've got to do so many fun things as a family this year! Definitly those fall under my favorite things about 08. I started blogging in January and that's been too much fun and (like so many others) has taught me a LOT! Some crummy things have happened but for the most part this has been a good year.
On the stamping side, I fell completely in love with the Magnolia Tilda's and MFT stamps this year, and discovered my love of the mini book and SCS. On a non-stamping note, early 2008 I hit my weight loss goal of 45 pounds (over a year) and have been maintaining (+ or - 5) for most of the year.
Thanks for offering this incredible chance to enable me more for more stamping!
Congratualtions Julee!! A few of my favortie things are definitely Copics and Nesties! I started blogging this year myself and love it, I love all of the new friends I have met and the magnitutde of talent out there is unreal!! Kelly
What I love about this year....Watching my kids grow more into their future selves. I have been reminded how they are not my own; I am raising them for God, to serve Him. They are both becoming such amazing individuals. Creative, caring, hard working. I am amazed to see some of these traits coming out at ages 6 and 8. The other thing I love about this year....my growth. Allowing myself to rekindle a long snuffed passion. I tried. I did it! I am proud of me, which is a leap in itself. God has been gently reminding me; I am still useful. I am after all, still His.
BTW- your Mojo Mondays have been a wonderful creative inspiration to me. Thank you. Keep it up!
The biggest thing that happened to me in 2008 was having my daughter. I love to watch her grow and interact with her brother. Scrappy wise I fell in love with Spellbinders Nesties!
In 2008 I lost 30lbs,have kept it off and I am still going. I got a cuttlebug and lots of Nestabilities and love using them! I have really branched out with my card making and have bought lots of embelishments, they just make the card even better! I hope to grow even more in 2009 and be the best me that I can be! Congratulations on yout two year blog anniversary. I love reading it. I too discovered copics and nesties this year. I finally made my christmas cards this year which was quite an accomplishment. I fell in love this year year with my new grandson born in April. but just as precious as the other four.
I'm brand new to this card making, and so it's one of the things that I have loved about this past year. Also I picked up a book called "Life is a Verb" and did one of the authors suggested "37 days" activites that was so much fun. My family and I had birthday candle celebration every night for this time period. I bought boxes of birthday candles, and we chose something new every night to celebrate. Some of the things that we chose were, real mash potatoes, chocolate cupcakes, and good friends. I've just finished doing "37 days" of art, cards of course, and yes my cards are improving!
I have to say the highlight of my year is my new daughter, Hannah. Everything about my life has taken on a new meaning, an extra special meaning. I have also really enjoyed the discovery of this blog. What a wealth of ideas and inspiration. Thanks so much for a great place to visit every day.
I have to definitely put the Twilight series up there, along with meeting 4 of my favorite country music stars and getting to pose with them for a picture, going on a cruise with my sister and having a wonderful bday dinner with the hubster at a super fancy schamncy restaurant and having adult conversation! thanks! and happy blogaversary! lisa k in tx
Congratulations on your 2 yr blog-a-versary! What a fabulous accomplishment! Thanks for all the inspiration!
In 2008, I became obsessed with stamping and card-making and it's been a great part of my life! I've made so many new friends in this arena. Love the new toys, too - got my first Nesties and my first Copics are on the way! On a personal note, my DH (and best friend) and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this summer. Very special! Even though some bad things happened this year, I know I have so much to be grateful for!
Thanks for the chance to win the awesome blog candy and congrats again!
Carla
Hi Julee, congrats on the upcoming milestone! Thanks for a chance for some amazing blog candy.
I've been blogging about my son for about 4 years, but I started my crafting blog earlier this year. Wow, that opened up my world to all of you super paper crafting creative people!!! In over 10 years of paper crafting, 2008 has been my FAVORITE year.
Happy 2nd. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. My absolute favorite thing this year was my dd coming to work in my school system as a 1st grade teacher. Yea! for her and for me! I am delighted.
One of our favorite things this year was our trip to the beach with my parents. The 7 of us just hung out, chatted, and enjoyed the sun/sand/surf. Great memories!
Congrats on your 2 year blogaversary. What a wonderful giveaway. My biggest moment of 08 was watching my son graduate as the valedictorian of his high school & then seeing him off to college. Thanks for your wonderful blog.
Fabulous Blog Candy. My favorite things in 2008 are Splitcoast, which I joined in March 2007. This has been a huge inspiration to me. Other great things, 10-day trip to Hawaii, my 16 year old daughter learned to drive and my family is all healthy, employeed and happy to be alive.
Thanks Julee, VERVE Rocks!
Well I started my blog in February and I became a SU! demonstrator in March! I have also been able to accumulate a ton of materials (Verve Stamps included) that have been very beneficial to my stamping career! Let's see...aside from stamping, my hubby and I celebrated our 1st anniversary and we bought some land! It really has been a wonderful year!
I have many favorites for 2008, but here are a few. Spending time with my family, especially my daughters, 4 and 1, - girl time!, discovering blogs, Verve stamps (I have 3 sets now and would love to add more in the future), Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils with baby oil technique, Wish RAK on SCS, going to Maui in August (great weather, yummy food, fun times), Spellbinders Nestabilities. Thanks for the chance to win your generous blog candy. And thanks for the inspiration your blog provides.
Wow a few of my favorite things this past year. We got a BEAUTIFUL dog Khuno, we finished putting up siding for most of the house, I became a Stampin' Up demonstrator and got into card making, went to Asia for 3 weeks, tried new endeavors at work, the list goes on! Congrats on your successful year!
I have many stamps this year thru the art of blogging--I used to think there were only a few. I, too, have discovered Copics & love them. I hope to own many more in 2009. Congrats on your 2 year anniversary--you are wonderful!!
Whew Julee! That's a tough request. Our family has had a rough year. I think I missed my whole summer and Fall. I am most thankful that the Lord has brought me through that valley and didn't leave me hanging. Being able to just "stand" without being knocked over is a very good thing to be greatful for.
Julee, I hope you and your family have a wonderful God blessed Christmas & New Year. Thanks for inspiring me and bringing bright moments to my days!
Favourite things this year include visits from far-away friends, trips to see family, discovering forums, seeing my niece and how she's grown.
In 2008, I fell in love with the Twilight series and Edward Cullen! Big fan of Team Cullen :) Also, loving the newest addition to our family 7 month old Lia and all the changes she is bringing! Your blog and your stamps rock...keep them coming!
Happy Blogaversary, Julee. I read your blog in a reader, so don't always stop in to comment. Awesome blog candy. Some of my favorite things from this year are blogging, copics and nestabilities. I don't think I could live without them.
A few, huh? Well, I started my blog, Kind Creations, on blogger this year thanks to Holly (Toy). I made some awesome friends on SCS (Cheryl, LeAnne, Diane, Michele). I was blessed with an awesome 5th grade class this year! I'm so impressed with their behavior, determination, and dedication to learning! Copics, SCS, blogs, family, friends...just a few! Thanks and congrats on 2 years! Love your style and Mojo Mondays! Happy Holidays!
Me too with the Copics and the Twilight Series. How about this one though.... Time. Time with my husband (who is one of my favorite things!!) and time with my son who just turned 16. My other favorite thing is my cat Wally - My Wallybear is my baby.
Thanks for all your great posts!!!!

I guess my favorite would be signing up to get these emails of your blog. I love checking out what you have done and some of your favorite links. You have some great ideas and inspiration. Thanks for your hard work.

This year I fell in love with trying to simplify the clutter in my life. I tried to limit my blog surfing time to 30 minutes each day. Some days it worked. My favorite day was anything this summer watching my son's vocabulary totally increase (he's three), and seeing him play sports -- the kid can really hit a baseball! I am looking forward to a healthier 2009, and a little luck as well.
Kristi
Oh my gosh that is the biggest blog candy I've seen! Wow! You're extremely generous! My favorite things from this year have to be my 3yr old's birthday tea party, being asked to be on the Hanna Stamps design team, discovering audio books (finally some books for lazy readers!, making it to NYC after two failed attempts and our family vacation to Walt Disney World! It's been a fabulous year!
WOW, Julee - What an amazing accomplishment! I lovev coming by your little corner of the web every day to see what you've created for us to drool over. :o)
What have been my favorite things in 2008?? Well, I'd have to say I have really started stepping out of my box thanks to blogs like yours. It is so inspiring to see such wonderfully creative people from around the world. I've also discovered the wonder of acrylic stamps - I used to be a SU! rubber snob (not that I don't still LOVE SU! stamps) but I have slowly come around to the "other medium." Like you, I discovered the Twilight series and DEVOURED them in a week! In fact, I loved them so much, I even bought them after I'd read them all.
I am so looking forward to 2009 and the creative challenges it will bring. Thanks again for being an inspiration to us all!
This has been a wonderful year for me. In June I received my acceptance letter for nursing school, and just last week I finished my first quarter, and achieved straight A's for the first time in my academic career. My daughter is going to be a starting varsity softball pitcher for our high school team. My sons are both healthy and doing great in school. And my husband is one of the only building contractors in the area that is still busy with work. I have had a wonderful 2008, and and grateful for all my blessings. 2009 holds more great things for me and my family.
I would have to say this has been a year of major changes for me....some of my favorite things of the year would have to be...Spending more time at the lake, finding a scrapbooking group in the town we moved to, my embossing gun, and my fresh zap of creativity!!!
This year my older son did really well in his GCSEs, his younger brother was best in school in their maths tests. My stamping really took off as a hobby/obsession, I've begun my blog and my new "must have" toy is Glimmer Mists.
Could I also say, what ASTOUNDING blog candy!
I decided to get back into stamping in 2008 and I recently found your blog. Congrats on your two year blogaversary! I also fell in love with twilight this year! Through this financial crisis I have learned to focus on what is really important in my life and to let the rest go.
Hi, Love your blog and your beautiful cards. Some of my favorite things this year have been traveling to see family, going to the beach for the first time in about 15 years (I'm more of a mountain person but I really enjoyed the beach). My beautiful niece and handsome goofy nephew are always on my list of favorite things. Merry Christmas
My biggest discovery was my crops! I started hosting crops at a local town hall in June. It was completely filled the first time with 20 girls! My second one was about 15 and my 3rd one in November was 6 but it was the most fun! I never laughed so hard in my life and realized how much I really liked getting together with the girls, scrapping and just having fun! I usually had just scrapbooked on my own before that but now I look forward to my own crops!
Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary! There are so many things to be thankful for this year but I do have to tell you that I became completely addicted to Nestabilities - I can't get enough of them! They are so fun to use and offer so many different ways of making things. How can a person go wrong?
Congrats on 2 years! I started using Copics this year and discovered Magnolia stamps!! My favorite event was a wonderful trip with my hubby this fall. And my favorite part of my life is being a mother!
Thanks for the Chance.
I got my cricut and cuttlebug and fell in love with them both. And I started stamping and now have an ample collection of crafting supplies, And I discovered My Big Idea Paper stacks and now have my weight worths of paper...lol
I am so in love with Copics and Nestabilities. I am getting some of both for Christmas. Yay!
I discovered stamping and card making this year!!! Oh, my goodness--I'd been missing out on tons of fun!
Congrats on the approaching blogaversary. I love your stamps and find myself using them very often. Thanks for such wonderful stamps, Julee!
Congrats on your 2 year blog-versary! That is very exciting! My most favorite thing from 2008 was the birth of my daughter...other favorites are just watching my son grow before my very eyes!
Congrats on your blogaversary, Julee and thanks for the chance to win some great stuff! Thanks also for the Mojo Monday sketch each week! I don't always find the time, but appreciate that it's available when I'm in a rut!
It's hard to think back more than a few months, but I guess some highlights of my year were getting Nestabilities and Copic markers and lots of other fun stamping toys, getting a new car, my daughter getting her drivers' license (yay, no more carpooling!) and continued success at my job (and just having a job too, for that matter!) A wonderful family and fabulous friends round out my list!
Julee, first of all, thank you for your blog!
The past year was trying in that I helped my 86 year old mother care for my 90 year old father who use to be such a sweet, tender, loving Baptist minister/counselor. After a stroke his entire personality changed. Every evening, I would have to go over there and settle a silly squabble between he and my mother, then practically wrestle him to get his adult diapers. Much to his objection, we had to put him in a nursing care facility. However, God worked it all out. Now, we're able to see he suffers from Alzheimer's. My evening visits with him are no longer to wrestle and argue, but to read to him and these visits are SO sweet. He has returned to his loving, gentle self. I'm so thankful I've been given a chance to have THESE special memories with him.
Happy 2nd anniversary....love your blog!
My favorite things about 2008....bought a new camera...took my daughter and her friends to the Jonas concert....my beautiful family....still with the Dave Ramsey program....helping out at school....teaching a class at my LSS....stamping, stamping, stamping....being a busy mom with all my kids....baking goodies and the kids wanting more....and just being grateful.
Congrats on your blogaversary! I am fairly new to visiting your blog, and LOVE it! TFS! My favorite thing this year...so many, but one of them was my solo trip to Hawaii in October. Was a lot of fun. Thanks for offering the great blog candy.
Well, I always love stamping, but I've perfected it somewhat this year - not that it needs to be perfect. I guess I should just say I've become more confident in my ability to stamp and make it look more up to m expectations! I've discovered how nice nestabilities work with my projects.
Congrats on 2 years!!
Oh so thankful to be healthy again and doing what I love....creating!
Thanks for the chance to win such great gifts!

This year was a struggle for me personally, but I am looking forward to happier moments in the new year.I was happy to find out about blogging, to feed my paper craft addiction.
Congrats on your 2 year blogaversary!! (Is that a word!?) This year has been great, we got a new dog in January and she has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Congrats to you!
Time spent with grandkiddies and watching them discover the world around them is by far the best thing to happen to me.
Congrats Julie!!! I guess some of my fave things this past year were, firstly finding the "Twilight" series, secondly making new friends every week on Crop Night ( I LOVE all these women), I've become obsessed with stamping ( thats how I found your site, LOVE it!!, and finally I'm happy I found a job so quickly after becoming unemployed earlier this year, my hubby wasn't so lucky, he's still unemployed after 15 mths. So... this little giveaway would really make my holiday this year since we have no funds for me to buy supplies with:(
Congratulations on your 2 years!!! :) I think one of my favorite things this year is getting to use creativity toward paper arts! I love it!
Congrats on 2 years! In 2008 I started reading blogs which opened up a whole new world of stamping. I also fell in love with the Cuttlebug and all the folders.
Oh wow!!!! What to pick for 2008. We bought our dream house. It has so many things about it that we didn't think of and God is so generous that it's all here. I have my own craft room now, a laundry chute, and big backyard and amazing neighbours. We are blessed with a new church family to boot.
Congratulations on 2 years Julee!!!
My favorite moments have to do with watching my kids grow up and become more of who they are.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I know I'm probably too late for this... but who knew I'd be up at this time of the day, with my crazy one year old who decided it was time to wake up at about 12:15 this morning and won't go back to sleep?! :-(
Happy blogoversary! My favorite things this year: rediscovering stamping, staying home with my baby, starting my own blog, finding Verve stamps and Unity stamps, oh yeah, and staying home with my baby. (did I say that already? Forgive me, I'm surviving on an hour and a half of sleep! :-)
Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary!
I can't think of anything major that happened in my life this past year. I do know that I really enjoy my cats both of whom we got at the end of last year. This year they have become a big part of our lives! Since our children are gone we spoil these cats terribly! I also was sold on my nesties. Thanks for the chance to win.
I guess the most exciting thing for me this year was the birth of my grandchild, Makenzie. She is almost 4 months old, and a delight. Also, I just re-organized my stamping room. I can find things I forgot I had, that's exciting, too. Thanks for the chance to win all the goodies!!
Hi Julee. Congrats on yr 2 yrs of blogging and thanku for sharing your passion with the world. I started cardmaking 7 yrs ago, but stopped because I ran out of ideas or designs, until Sept this yr when I found SCS and your blog, and I fell in love with cardmaking all over again, and are learning to think outside the square when card-designing. Can't wait to get to my desk everyday. Thks so much for inspiration, and for offering Blog Candy.
I also fell in love with nesties this year. I love so stamp, it is so relaxing. Congratulations on your two year anniversary. I would like to learn about copics this next year so wonderful blogs like yours.
Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary and many thanks for the chance to win. I'm in Ireland so if by any chance I was the lucky one, I'd like to pay postage.
2008 was the year I started stamping - which has been such fun but always I am most grateful for my family. Good luck for 2009
In 2008 I started to stamp and have signed up for a bunch of different blogs (like yours) that provide inspiration each and every day. I am constantly learning new things from all of you and I am so very grateful that you share with all of us. I cherish my family the very most, especially my adorable grandchildren, but I certainly love my online stamping friends and all the talent they have.
The past year has been beyond wonderful, the birth of a new grandchild and another son's wedding has been an unbelievable high for me. I also discovered SCS and became part of a penpal group there that has become another family for me. To top this off, I'm going to become an SU demo next month....only thanks to the generous group of women crafters on this site who share their skills and visions to push me farther on.
Hi Julee, Congrats on 2 years. I've followed you for 1 of those. My favorite this about this year is that my children allow me to have time in my craft room without any hassels. Also I am grateful for everyones health and happiness. Thanks for the opportunity to post a comment. Seasons Greetings from Calgary, Canada.
