Hi Friend - AVS Hop Day 2

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  It's Day 2 of our Anni-VERVE-sary Spotlight Hops and there's lots to see!  Leave a little comment love as you hop about to the blogs listed below and you just might find yourself the proud new owner of some hot off the presses Verve sets and dies!  For a little more info on the sets we're featuring today, head on over to the Verve Blog.

Today the Divas are featuring Lean on Me, Thatched Banner Plain Jane, Pointed Flowers Die Set and Dreamy Leaves Die set, all of which I used on today's project. Our fifth Anni-VERVE-sary Release challenge is an ABC (anything but a card) project.  I knew as soon as Janelle and Amy announced their theme that I wanted to make a K-cup caddy.

So with sets, dies and template in hand, I got to work making a little coffee gifty for a friend, complete with my current favorite kind of K-cups.The flowers and sentiment are from the Lean On Me set and cut with the Pointed Leaves Die Set.  I added the leaves from Dream Big which are cut with the brand new Dreamy Leaves Die Set.  The sentiment is embossed onto the Thatched Banner plain jane, which is matted with the coordinating Ribbon Banner Die.  Oh, and that Pennant Trim Die jumped onto my project again, this time with pearls in between each pennant.  Love the look of it!

Lots of ink and paper distressing and a handful of super fun embellishments finished things off.  I told you all about them the first time I wrote this post, but then somehow the whole post deleted when I went in to change one link and then it auto saved as a blank post!  So the second time around I'm just winging it because it's almost time for my nanny to leave!

So did you hear about our Customer Card Carnival?

I really like these new flowers - daisies are so pretty :) I'm really pleased you're making more sentiments in the same style as Hope Blooms - they're my most used sentiments of all my stamps!
