I couldn't contain my excitement when I unwrapped this month's Paper Pad Club and Stamp/Die of the month goodies! These vintage-inspired Valentine's Day treasures have stolen my heart. Get ready to be inspired.

Today, I'm sharing how to create this stunning shabby-chic Valentine's Day card. I just love the beautiful combination of the Plaids for Valentines and Sweet Valentine papers!  In the video l create a charming tag, a gorgeous floral image, and a lovely background that will leave the recipient swooning. Watch on the blog below or on my YouTube channel.

I brought this gorgeous floral image from the Sweet Valentine set to life with Copic markers and white gel pen accents. I added a touch of dimension by die-cutting the image and blending in some ink to soften the edges on all my panels.

I love to add a touch of vintage charm to cards with a sentiment tag. For the topper, I stamped the floral image onto kraft cardstock and added a touch of ink for a distressed look. Then I finished the card off with a heart-shaped hole reinforcer, a sweet sentiment, and a bit of twine.

But wait, there's more! I created a second coordinating card with a swapped layout and a sweet sentiment. This card features a primitive heart die-cut from the typewriter patterned paper, adding a touch of whimsy to the design. I love how it plays on the "Our love story is my favorite" theme.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll take a moment to pop on over to YouTube to check out the hop and all the amazing inspiration my teamies are sharing today!
