Cute Critters and Caffeinated Christmas

Hi friends! I'm super excited to be one of the guest designers at the Caffeinated Christmas Challenge Blog this month. Hooray! They're bringing an awesome challenge of caffeine + cute critters with a Christmas theme this month.  The challenge is sponsored by Trinity Stamps and the prize is a $40 gift card to their shop. You can use any vendor stamps you prefer.

I have a huge pile of stamps I collected during my creative break. If  you can't create, why not shop, right? So I pulled out a couple of my recent purchases from Not 2 Shabby to start this card.

This bear from the Christmas Bears set just stole my heart. I love the I come bearing gifts sentiment, so I found a patterned paper for the background that had some gifts on it.  The bear is colored with Copic markers and cut with my Scan 'n Cut (although there are coordinating dies) available. I subscribe to the stamp only option, so don't have the dies.  The cup is from the Coffee with My Gnomies set. It was the perfect size to tuck between his little paws.

After my bear was done, I embossed the I come bearing gifts sentiment onto patterned paper, then accented with gold mats.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the November stamp of the month, Cup of Cheer set and die cut with a tag die.

Be sure to head on over to the Caffeinated Christmas blog for lots of inspiration, then pull out your Christmasy cute critters and have a play for a chance to win!

I've just hopped over from the Caffeinated Christmas blog. So adorable! That's one tall cup of coffee for that little bear.
