Today we're peeking the super cute set, Sun Please. We've had some cold, wet days lately, so I decided to start with that and the title sentiment as my inspiration.
I colored the sweet little mouse with umbrella with Copic markers, then masked the ladybug from a different stamp to share his umbrella with him. I masked off the tow, then stamped the rain and ink blended with distress oxides, splattering with a little water. I matted with blue, white and a pinking circle in yellow to play on the sun sentiment.
The background is blended with the same distress oxides. I stamped the rain randomly around where I wanted to place the sunny circle. Then I used the Great Outdoors stencil to add more raindrops. I accented some of the raindrops with teeny rhinestones, and others with glossy glaze. The sentiment is matted and then everything is layered together.
