September 2020 TCP New Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's release day at The Cat's Pajamas! We're hopping along one last time to celebrate this fabulous new release. Come along for some fresh inspiration with all the new products that are available to purchase NOW in the shop!

I'm the first stop on the hop, so let's get started! I've got a couple of fun cards to share today, so grab a cuppa something awesome and settle in. It's National Coffee Day (hooray!), so I couldn't resist using the fabulous cups and book image from the new Alice set. I started by stamping the image randomly as a background, then watercolored with distress oxide inks, sponging around the edges with vintage photo.  I then stamped the cup image again on bristol cardstock and colored with Zig clean color real brush markers. After I die cut the image with the coordinating Alice Dies, I also stamped the drink me tag and fussy cut to attach to the top cup handle.

This little fox from Follow Your Arrow is one of my favorite images, so I felt she needed to be hanging out with all the cups and books!  I colored her up with Zig markers, then chose a sentiment from the previously released One Liners set to add as a banner across the card and accented with a whimsical little mushroom from the Stitched Tree die.

I just love all the whimsical little images in the Stitched Tree die.  So many possibilities! Here I pieced together the two mushrooms, a flower, and leaves as a little trio of pictures framed with the Square Stamp CutUps. 

My background panel is cut with the stitched die from Slimline Suburbs and then layered over some patterned paper.  I added the Stitched Hello die over on the side as my sentiment, then added some twine and a couple more of the sweet flowers to finish things off.
