Alice Sneak Peek

Hi friends! There's a brand spankin' new release from The Cat's Pajamas coming September 29! It's filled to the brim with the sassy, whimsical stamps you've come to know and love from TCP.  Today's Day 3 of Sneaky Peek Week and we're featuring the super fun Alice stamp set. Each day through release day, the Cat Pack will be treating you to a peek at a new stamp set. Look for the In it to Win it graphic and leave a little comment love on those posts for a chance to win a Cat Cash gift code to the shop! Sets are available as they are peeked, so if you see a must-have there's no need to wait!

The Alice set is so fun with it's little wonderland theme, and of course the key to my heart... coffee/tea cups! While I'll show those cups later this week, I absolutely love this little bunny, so had to stamp him up first! I watercolored the bunny and drink me potion with distress sprays, using crackling campfire, speckled egg, broken china, and antique linen, blending the colors together to make new shades where I needed. This set has coordinating dies, but I had misplaced mine at the time (found them later on the bottom of my MISTI! LOL!), so I fussy cut.

Another absolutely fabulous product from this release is the Clock Stencilz! The look of this stencil is completely up my alley, and I couldn't wait to create a mixed media background with it.  I started by stenciling some crackle embellishment mousse onto heavyweight cardstock and letting it dry.  Next, I pulled out a bunch of distress oxide and distress stain sprays in cracked pistachio, speckled egg, broken china, crackling campfire, and  antique linen. I spritzed, and sprayed, and blottted until I was happy with the background. While some of the last layer was still wet, I sprinkled a little crackling fire and speckled egg embossing glaze in random areas and heat set.

To finish off the card, I die cut a few of the smaller squares from the Square Stamp CutUps and glued them together for a little "rabbit hole" picture frame our impossible rabbit could jump through.  I finished with the sentiment from the Alice set stamped in crackling campfire. If you love stamps with coordinating dies, you can get them both in the Alice Bundle at a discount!

Alrighty, thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to see what my other teamies are sharing today. Leave a little love at each of their blogs today for a chance to win the drawing! Check out all the details on the TCP Blog.
