Mojo Monday 540

Hi friends! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch! Today I have something new to try... a slimline card.  But if you're not sure about slimlines, feel free to adjust to whatever size of card you like to create. I shortened the measurements from the 8.5" long cards that I've been making, so I could incorporate the 6" wide paper I had. Just do what works for you!

As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires and enter as many creations as you like. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on July 12,  2020. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs.

I've been wanting to play with the Time Well Spent set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps again.  It's the June Stamp of the Month and can be purchased individually, or is a free gift with a qualifying $75 order through June 30. I love the masculine/vintage feel to it, and it drew me to a very old Frank Garcia paper pad called Archivist.

I started by embossing the clock onto one of the dark papers with a metallic bronze embossing powder. I die cut this, then cut another circle from the same patterned paper to pop it up onto.  I chose a few papers from the pad to layer, aging them a bit with some Tea Dye and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxides.  This is my favorite sentiment from the set and I stamped with versafine clair ink and embossed in clear.  My final touch was embossing the two clock hands on the same paper and fussy cutting.  I joined them together with a teeny brad and then added to my card.

If you're looking for a deal, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is having a fabulous Summer Kick-off Sale through June 30! Save 10 - 25% off your entire order! And other promos apply still, so if your order total is $100, you'll pay $75 with the 25% discount, and qualify for FREE US shipping, and receive the Time Well Spent for FREE. (Note: you must add the set to your cart to receive the set for free).

Alrighty, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I’m off camping for the next few days but when I get back, I am playing along! Love your card as always! The warm, antiqued look is so cool with this stamp set!
