Mojo Monday 537

Hi friends! Are you ready for another Mojo Monday sketch?  As a reminder, these challenges are for the pure fun of getting creative. No prizes, no winners... although we're all winners if we get inky, right? I do love to see what you create, so I hope you'll play along!

As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires and enter as many creations as you like. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on May 31, 2020. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs.

I've been on a bit of a clean and simple kick lately. So this week's sketch is super clean... two elements and a fun background.

For my card, I chose the Blue Morpho Butterfly digi and the Psalm 46:1 digi from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and printed them out with my new printer and colored with Copic markers.  If you're not into digis, this butterfly is also available in stamp form in the gorgeous new Begin Again set. I cut the sentiment with a circle die, and then matted with black cardstock.

The background is done with Ken Oliver Color Bursts. I watered down the Ultramine Blue and Prussian Blue powders, then painted on a piece of acetate packaging and smooshed onto the cardstock. I mounted this panel to a piece of fun foam, then added to an A2 card base. I then added a few white gel pen accents to the butterfly and then adhered my elements to the card.

Alrighty, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch! Can't wait to see what you create! Thanks so much for stopping by!
