If you've arrived from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog, you're already on stop 2, welcome to more stampy goodness from me! If a link misbehaves along the way head on back there for the full hop list. Alright, let's get hopping!

When I first saw the April Stamp of the Month, Friendship is a Blessing, I couldn't wait to use this Number 6:24-26 stamp. I created the background using a plastic bag to smoosh broken china onto  a panel of cardstock, then cut it down to 3x4".  I stamped the scripture in black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I embossed the butterfly from Made New in black on vellum, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut to add in the corner.

The background is embossed with an embossing folder and I finished with a white card base.

My second card for today uses a sentiment from Friendship is a Blessing, paired with one of the lovely birds from the new Beautiful Birds set. I colored the bird with Zig markers and then randomly stamped a pattern in the background with various backgrounds from the Texture Tiles 1 set.  This panel is matted with black.

I selected some black and white paper from an old paper pad, then sponged around the edges with black soot and embossed the sentiment from Friendship is a Blessing in the bottom corner to finish things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! There's still a ton of inspiration on the hop, so be sure to click on over  to the next stop.

The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Ceal Pritchett!

Julee, both cards are gorgeous, but I love the Numbers card! I create a lot of cards in mass for our church congregation, and this would be such a perfect stamp for today's times, when we can't be together! Thanks for inspiring and sharing!

This is my introduction to SNSS & I am quite liking what I've see so far in this April release. I appreciate the sentiment verses of faith they've put together. Your first card is fabulous! I have got to try smooshing with a plastic bag. Thanks for that great tip.
