I've recently started making ATC Coins, which are Artist Trading Cards that are 2.5" circles, so I knew I wanted to create a sketch with a 2.5" circle. So I picked out some papers from my scrap pile that went with the ATC coin I had already finished and set about creating a layout.
The ATC Coin background was done with distress paints, stencils and the Texture Tiles 1 set Next I stamped images from the adorable new Springtime set that just released from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I colored the boots and flowers image with Copics then hand trimmed, doing the same for the butterfly image. A sentiment from the Sentimental Wordfetti set is tucked in and I then added the finished coin to a large scalloped circle and sponged the edges with wild honey and spiced marmalade distress oxides.
I sponged a few of my layers with black soot, and the yellow one with wild honey and spiced marmalade. I thought it needed just a bit more, so chose the polka dot background from Texture Tiles 5 to stamp over the yellow patterned paper in wild honey.
