TCP January Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's release day at The Cat's Pajamas! We're hopping along one last time to celebrate this fabulous new release. Come along for some fresh inspiration with all the new products that are available to purchase NOW in the shop!

My first card for today features the new Splish Splash set. I love these sweet little rain loving pals. I colored with Zig Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then blended tumbled glass distress oxide around the edges of the panel.  Next I took the rain stamp from the set and stamped it in tumbled glass. Love the effect.

The sentiment when life gives you rain play in the puddles made me smile, so I had to go with it for this card. I embossed it in white on a strip of black cardstock and then adorned with a few holeless sequins. I paired my image with some raindrop paper from an old Hello Sunshine pad by Pink Paislee.

For my next card, I used the Year of the Rat set. Y'all know I can't resist a coffee stamp, so this little coffee cup needed to be inked up!

I stamped the sweet little mouse (I'm calling him a mouse, because.... ewww rats!) 😂 and three coffee cups, then colored with Copic markers.  Then I cut the images with the coordinating Year of the Rat Dies stacking two cups below the mouse to make him taller.

Next I stamped the Happy and Hello from the set on a circle die cut from patterned paper.  I finished with a little striped pattern paper behind, a few enamel dots and a baker's twine bow.
