TCP November Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's release day at The Cat's Pajamas! We're hopping along one last time to celebrate this fabulous new release. Come along for some fresh inspiration with all the new products that are available to purchase NOW in the shop!

If you've been hopping along, you should have arrived from Melissa's blog. If not, head over to Cristina's blog to start from the beginning. I've got a couple of fun cards to share today, so grab a cuppa something awesome and settle in. When you're done here, hop on over to see what Beata is sharing today. If a link goes amiss along the way, the full hop list can be found on the TCP Blog

My first card for today features the new Hugs Needed set. I just think these illustrations are so adorable! I colored my girl up in Zig markers, then added a hint of tumbled glass distress oxide for the sky and matted the image in black.

Next I used the Succulent stencil with some Sparke liquid ink for a fun background. I cut this with the Rectangular Stamp Die and then matted with a black frame from the same die set.

Next I started creating my background.  I made a plaid pattern with picked raspberry ink and the Pattern Builder stencil. I then went back and added some black pen accents with the stencil.  I cut a strip of white cardstock the length of the card and embossed the sentiment at the bottom.  Then it was just a matter of layering it all together and finishing off with a gingham bow.

For my next card, I used that Succulent background again.  I just love it!  I blended it in picked raspberry first, then black soot around the edges.  Next I pulled out the Shakey Serif stencil and added the letters for the word LOVE in black paint.

I then stamped the fun little flamingo and road runner from the Hello Darlin' set and colored with Zig markers, then hand trimmed to place on either side of the word LOVE.  I added some die cut hearts using the Nested Hearts set and then finished off with a little glitzy black washi tape on the top and bottom edges.

Well, that's all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you've enjoyed all the peeks and inspiration with this fabulous new release. I've linked my supplies as well as the entire release below for you, so be sure to check it out.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Beata.
