If you've arrived from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog, you're already on stop 2, welcome to a second card from me! If a link misbehaves along the way head on back there for the full hop list. Alright, let's get hopping!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is also celebrating their 12 birthday this month with a sale! Everything in the shop is 12% off through November 30. NO CODE NEEDED. Discount will come off in cart.

For my first card today, I chose to create with the gorgeous new Poinsettia Greetings stamp set. Poinsettia Greetings is this month's Stamp of the Month, so you can earn it for FREE with a $75 order in the month of November. It retails for $21.95, so that's a steal of a deal! Woohoo! I am completely smitten with this huge poinsettia image.

To start, I stamped and embossed the flower onto watercolor paper and then watercolored with Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. Although I've had these markers for years, they have suddenly become my favorite medium to work with. There's something to be said for taking the time to really practice with a medium before deciding if you love it or not. Anyhow, I fussy cut the image, then added a few sequins and rhinestones to accent it.

The background is created with the new Christmas Wordfetti set. I really wanted a sentiment set like this and was so happy when Korin ran with the idea. For the background, I left all the stamps on the acetate carrier, then taped the acetate to the door of my MISTI and stamped it all at once. I embossed it white on black, because I just love the crispness. At the same time, I also did a set black on white and cut that one up to add the season of love sentiment to finish the card.

Okay, now it's time to see what the other designers have created for you today. I've linked up the entire release as well as my supply list below.

The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Cathy McCauley!

After seeing the samples that Lee Ann and Korin did with this set, I didn't think it could get even prettier, but wow. This is gorgeous. Love how you have it colored and love the little sequins. Blessings.

I've always loved Word Art and you have created a great background using the stamps in the new Christmas Wordfetti!!! What a great idea!! It has a great impact yet doesn't overwhelm the poinsettia at all. It all works well together to create a very special design!!! <3
