TCP July New Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's release day at The Cat's Pajamas! We're hopping along one last time to celebrate this fabulous new release. Come along for some fresh inspiration with all the new products that are available to purchase NOW in the shop!

If you've been hopping along, you should have arrived from Christine's blog. If not, head over to Rebekah's blog to start from the beginning. I've got a couple of fun cards to share today, so grab a cuppa something awesome and settle in. When you're done here, hop on over to see what Nancy is sharing today. If a link goes amiss along the way, the full hop list can be found on the TCP Blog

My first card for today features this darling little threesome from the Gnome Peeking set. This set is a free gift with a purchase of $65 or more in the shop this month. And it's so ca-ute! I colored up these little gnomes in traditional reds and greens and then matted in black onto a tag cut with the Wish Tag Duo Die. I then added the joyeux in black cardstock cut with the NEW Joyeux Noel CutUps.  I then also stamped and colored the little sign image and added it to the first gnome, with the NOEL part of the Joyeux Noel. I accented the tag with holly from the Holiday Window Duo Dies and then matted with the same green patterned paper that I used for the holly leaves. I added a little black soot ink around the edges to tie in with the black accents, then set this aside to work on the background.

I am seriously in love with the new stencils and blending brush released this month! Swoon!
Here I used that Blizzard Stencil again, blending with iced spruce distress oxide for a soft subtle background. Love how it turned out!

My next card is a fun shaker card featuring the new Ho Ho Ho Die. I've been loving the look of white splatters on black lately, so decided to use that as the base and frame of my shaker, filling it up with a mix of green and clear holographic holeless sequins. I then matted this on some green plaid Christmas paper and accented with a bow. Super fun! This card is tall & skinny, measuring in at 3.5" x 5.5", so it will still fit in a standard A2 size envelope. Bonus!

Well, that's all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you've enjoyed all the peeks and inspiration with this fabulous new release. I've linked my supplies, plus the  entire release (and free cutting files) below for you, so be sure to check it out.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Nancy.

Loving your wee gnomes on the first card Julee - they are so cute and beautifully coloured. The plaid paper on the second one really brings it to life
