July Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Hi friends! If you hadn't noticed, my Christmas stamps are definitely getting a workout this week! I don't mind, though, as it means I'll have less of a rush come November when it's time to do ALL. THE. THINGS! 😆 It's the 25th of the month and that means it's time to join my crafty friends once again as we share Christmas inspirations along our monthly Keeping Christmas Blog Hop.

If you're just popping in, the hop starts over at Kelly's blog. If you came from Claire Broadwater's blog, then you're right on track! 😊

🎉 It also happens to be my birthday today! 🥳Yay me for surviving another year!

For today's card I went with a favorite silhouette image from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps O Holy Night stamp set. I first sponged peacock feathers on a piece of cardstock, then embossed the nativity silhouette in white over the top of it.  I cut this with a circle die and then matted with thin foam for some dimension.

I decided to follow the current Mojo Monday sketch, so stamped and embossed the star of wonder sentiment from We Three Kings in the upper corner of my card panel.  Next I masked off a section and blended with peacock feathers and broken china ink. I added some of the teeny star images from O Holy Night in white pigment ink for some texture.

Next I cut a horizontal strip of black cardstock and then a slightly smaller one of  white and embossed it with the silent night sentiment.  I finished off with a bit of washi tape at the bottom for accent and a star rhinestone embellishment from my stash.

If you're loving these sets as much as I am, Sweet 'n Sassy is having a little Christmas in July sale! Save 25% off all stamps in the Christmas and Winter categories through July 31.

Hope this fun little card has inspired you to get going on your Christmas projects! For more eye candy and inspiration, head on over to the next stop on the hop... Kim Heggins!
