TCP Sneaky Peek Week Day 1

If you're looking for the SNSS Blog Hop, click here - there was a little mix-up on the link

Hi friends! I'm so excited for another release from The Cat's Pajamas. I always love the whimsical images and sassy sayings, and this release is no different! Each day for the next week, the Cat Pack will be treating you to a peek at a new stamp set. Look for the In it to Win it graphic and leave a little comment love on those posts for a chance to win a Cat Cash gift code to the shop!

Today's sneaky spotlight is on the Kickin' It set. This little bunny laying in the grass and flowers reminded me of my college days studying in the park. I loved watching the big fluffy clouds and blue sky, so decided to create a little scene with the help of a couple brand new products from TCP! This month we're releasing a couple stencils (yippee) and the Big Beautiful Blending Brush.

You can see that big beautiful blending brush in the photo. It's super large and soft and absolutely wonderful for blending. You can get a lot of color down in a short amount of time and that makes me happy! It also has a cute little stand to hold it and is super easy to wipe off between colors, so you really only need one. I used it here with tumbled glass and broken china distress oxides and the NEW Great Outdoors Stencil. This stencil is a fabulous scene builder, with four different sides and droplets in the center for creating rain, texture, etc. I used it here for the clouds and also for the grass down below, which I did with twisted citron distress oxide, offsetting it twice for a thicker grass area, then fussy cut to add behind my bunny image.

Guess what? I finally (after years of talking about it) unboxed my Silhouette Cameo and used some cut files for the first time. Alma, the generous soul that she is, always creates free downloadable cut files for any images that don't have coordinating dies, so be sure to look for them in the shop. So here I cut the bunny image and then stamped and colored her with Copic markers.

The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut from the Ribbon Banners CutUps. I blended it with squeezed lemonade to bring in a bit more yellow, then blended the sun image from the County Fair CutUps in the same way and then coated with gloss and glitter. Super fun card to create and I can't wait to play more with this fabulous stencil and blending brush.

Alrighty, now it's time to see what my other teamies are sharing today. Leave a little love at each of their blogs today for a chance to win the drawing! Check out all the details on the TCP Blog.
