Mojo Monday 517

Hi friends! It's already time for another Mojo Monday challenge! Thanks to all who played along last round. I hope you enjoy crating with this new sketch.

As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on June 16, 2019. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs.

My card today features the fabulous new Happy Irises June Stamp of the Month from the June Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps release. This set is your free gift with a $75 order in the month of June. If you haven't had a chance to take a peek at the amazing new stamps just released on Saturday, it's definitely worth a look-see. I've linked up the whole release later in the post.

These irises were calling my name, and since I'm behind on making a few birthday cards, I got right to work. I used the smaller detailed iris image with the Gina K. wreath builder template to get even spacing when stamping my images. When I had those four images stamped, I added in one of the smaller solid irises in between and did another go round with the wreath builder. I then colored the images with Copics and added some pen detailing to the smaller solid images.

For the sentiment I stamped the birthday sentiment from Happy Irises in black on a white circle, then pulled in the happy word from the Cheerful Hexies set. Next I overstamped the panel with the script background from Texture Tiles 1. This is matted with a black circle that I added some Nuvo drops to, then accented the sentiment with some pearls from my stash.

I then stamped the other solid iris image on white cardstock, colored and detailed the same way, then fussy cut to pop up near the sentiment. My finished wreath panel is matted with a 4" square of black cardstock and used the same script stamp to stamp across the bottom of the card.  My final touch was a seam binding bow.

Okay, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch!
