Mojo Monday 516

Hi friends! It's already time for another Mojo Monday challenge! I hope you enjoy the sketch!

As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on June 2, 2019. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs. I used a circle frame element, but if you don't have dies for that, please substitute.

My card today features the fabulous new Knitting set from the May My Monthly Hero Release. If you haven't had a chance to take a peek at all the crafty themed stamps and dies they released this month, be sure to check out their website.

I started with this sweet little kitty image. And colored him up with Copic markers.  Next I stamped the basket and several copies of the yarn image, then colored them in as well and cut all my images with the coordinating Knitting Frame Cuts.

Next, I taped together two Circle Infinity dies to die cut the frame, making sure the opening was big enough to frame the sentiment I had selected. While I still had the dies taped together, I cut another frame from fun foam, then glued the two pieces together.  I then decided to color the frame in rainbow colors to match my images.

The sentiment is embossed in white on a black banner strip tucked behind the frame. I wanted the colors to take center stage, but still wanted a little texture in the background, so I embossed the Knitting Pattern Bold Prints background stamp in clear on the white card front. I then assembled all my pieces and matted with black cardstock to finish up.

Okay, now it's your turn! I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch!

I love your card more than yarn, which doesn't say too much because I really like cards more than yarn! But, still, love the sketch and your card.
