As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on April 21, 2019. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs.
My card today uses some fabulous new goodies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Be sure to check out their website to see the entire April release.
I started by stamping several of the hexagon shapes from Cheerful Hexies in peacock feathers and wilted violet inks then cut them out to layer together. I next stamped some of the flowers from the Happy Day stamp of the month set and then watercolored with the distress oxides before cutting out to add to my collage of elements.
Next I created a background by smooshing the two colors of ink onto white cardstock. I embossed this panel with an embossing folder, then trimmed down as a panel to layer my elements upon. The sentiment is also from the Cheerful Hexies set and is stamped onto a die cut shape.
To finish the card, I embossed a 2" panel of white cardstock with the same embossing folder, then quickly coated a thin strip of ribbon with the wilted violet ink to match the colors of my card, and layered everything onto a regular A2 card base. I used foam adhesive here and there to add dimension and then added sparkle to the flowers with a bit of crystal lacquer and a sprinkling of glitter.
Okay, now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a super creative start to your week!
