Sneaky Peek Week Day 7 and Keeping Christmas

Hi friends!  Today I've got a two-for-one kind of a card. It's Day 7 of Sneaky Peek Week for The Cat's Pajamas and the final die set to be revealed is the beautiful Four Seasons Duo Dies, which as the name implies, has a die representing each of the four seasons. The snowflake die cut seemed like the perfect start to my Keeping Christmas Blog Hop card. There's a little comment giveaway for Sneaky Peek Week, so be sure to look for the details later in this post.

I love the postage stamp dies in the Four Seasons set and thought the snowflake duo would make an elegant Christmas card. I started by cutting it from shiny gold paper three times. Then I cut just the outer postage stamp die three times for the backing. Next I sponged the backing rectangles with antique linen and vintage photo distress ink and then layered the gold and cream pieces together with liquid adhesive. For a little accent, I added a couple of flatback pearls to the center of each snowflake and then set these aside to dry.

For the background, I pulled out the beautiful Vintage Holiday set and embossed the Dec. 25 in the corner in gold. I selected a scrap of some old BasicGrey paper for the horizontal piece, then positioned the Season's Greetings oval where it would show below this panel and embossed it in gold as well.  Then I randomly stamped the poinsettia image all over the panel in sand ink, and  sponged the edges with distress inks. Then it was just a matter of matting each panel in gold and arranging on my card base.

All right, here's the Cat Pack list of today's official peekers. Be sure to give them a shout-out in the comments for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the TCP store! And don't forget to head over to The Cat's Pajamas blog for the skinny on everything! Winners will be announced on The Cat's Pajamas Blog and Facebook page each day.
