Rainbow Hearts

Hi friends! I'm popping in today with a fun little rainbow card I made with the new Forever & Always stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. I just love these fun patterned hearts.

I was inspired by the current inspiration photo at The Card Concept to pull out a rainbow of distress oxide inks and get to work. Here's the graphic, isn't it lovely?

Each die cut square is smooshed in the same color distress oxide ink as I stamped the heart in. My rainbow of oxides consists of Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I hand trimmed each heart, then popped up on foam tape for dimension. The finishing touch was the love you sentiment from the set stamped in black on the first square.

I had so much fun making this clean and simple card. A splash of color was just what I needed for a dreary, weary day in the craft room, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow for the My Monthly Hero February release.
