I thought this occasion was the perfect one to practice making another video, so I have a quick process video for you today. You can watch it below or on my YouTube Channel.
I started the card by stamping the adorable bunny and apropos sentiment from Bunnies in Flight with Copic safe ink. Next I cut the sentiment out with the Portrait of Mew die and also cut the frame out with hot pink cardstock. I colored the bunny image and die cut with the Wish Tag Duo, then used the tag die as a stencil to trace around and create a thin black mat for the stamped tag.
Next I moved on to the background. I blended distress oxides over a star stencil using squeezed lemonade, worn lipstick and picked raspberry ink and a makeup brush. I love how this turned out, but there was a tiny bit of seepage on one of the stars, so after I layered the card together and added some ribbon, I covered up those spots with some Silver Saucers Holeless Sequins. I finished off with some accents of clear glaze and glitter on the balloons.
