Every Little Thing Card Concept 57

Hi friends! The Card Concept is back from summer vacation with a colorful challenge that's sure to inspire.  We hope you'll play along.

I was inspired by that gorgeous weathered door and the rainbow of cascading colors.  To start, I pulled out a host of polka dot papers, cut them in strips, distressed the edges and then layered them together to make a rainbow background.

Next I embossed the flowers from Let it Be on the pink polka dot paper, fussy cut and distressed a bit, accenting with a rhinestone center.  Some Sprightly Sprigs greenery is layered behind and then I started on my wooden sign.  I picked out a piece of woodgrain paper, then layered a piece of vellum over it to soften the look.  The sentiment is one of my favorites and embossed in white.  I stitched the two layers together up on the top, then accented with two brads for nails.  A bit of lace trim and a whole lot of distressed edges finishes things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head on over to The Card Concept to see all the loveliness the design team is sharing today with this beautiful inspiration.
