I made today's card in the same stamping session as my spotlight on Friday. I just loved the colors I used on that card and had to play some more with the scraps on my desk. I did some background stamping with the large outline flower from Simply Amazing on the crumb cake, so saffron and barely banana layers. Next I layered them together and added the sentiment on the crumb cake layer, breaking things up with a border die cut from the Scallop Trim Trio Die Set. I accented the sentiment with a few hearts that were cut from the border die, then made my accent flower using the stamps and coordinating Simply Daisies Die Set. I finished off with a button and a twine bow. Love the dimension and detail you can achieve with these die cut flowers.

FYI Had a hard time finding where to comment but I am 74 and computer challenged. LOL Unusual colors but you make them work by your placement and using the outline Daisy to make your own design paper. Great job using up the scraps to make a beautiful card.
It's a beautiful card. I could not honestly use that sentiment with anyone besides my husband. Many other sentiments would work.
