Substantial Coffee

Hi friends!  I survived to Friday! {grin}  My kiddos have been sick again and we're back to waking up several times throughout the night to do breathing treatments.  Needless to say, coffee is pretty much what I've been living on lately!  And today I'm sharing my final card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  It's the last day to link up and I'm pretty proud that I was able to create 7 cards for the hop this go round.

It's also the first Friday of a new month of Viva la Verve sketches, and I'm up on the VLV Sketches blog with a fun new sketch to kickstart your month.  I hope you'll play along!

While I'm a traditional stamper for life, I've been having a lot of fun with the Latte Love digi.  One really fun thing is the ability to resize things.  I wanted a GIANT cup to go with this favorite sentiment from the Delightful & Delicious set, so I resized the cup image, then printed with my laser printer and colored with copics.  The papers are from the Story of Fall, I went with some solid prints, then added some tone on tone accents with the Gothic layering stencil from tim holtz.  I added some Sprightly Sprigs die cuts for accent, then added a bit of lace trim to bring out the teals I used to color the cup.  Lots of distressing and a fun fall leaf embossed background layer finishes things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for humoring me and my coffee obsession all week long.  I promise I'll start stamping with other things again soon!  {grin}

Julee, it really has been a lot of fun to play with these guys! I can't thank you enough. I wouldn't have gone out and bought coffee themed stamps, so the freebie made it possible for me to participate more in the hop along. :) I am very sorry your little sweet ones are sick again and will say a special prayer for your family. Love this beautiful card, so perfectly designed! Glad you had some creative to relieve the stresses of mommydom. ;0
