Project Life and a hop

Hi friends!  It's Tuesday morning and it's time for the Divas to share their first looks at some exciting new sets releasing from Verve this Friday!  Today we're shining our Verve spotlights on the new stamps Remember This, Calendar Countdown and Smile Plain Jane. Each of the release team Divas below (including 4 brand new talented designers) has posted her first look at these new stamps today. As you hop through the list, you just might see some super sneaky peeks of new coordinating dies, too, so keep your eyes peeled! Everything you see previewed along today's hop will be available in Verve's online store on Friday, February 22.

Want to win some shiny new Verve?
We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the hop spots below to win today's featured products! So be sure to leave a little comment on all the blogs below to increase your chances! Check out the Verve Blog for all the prize details and deadlines. Woohoo! Let's get started...

3x4 Journaling and Filler Cards

I've been so excited for these sets and coordinating dies to arrive!  Like seriously giddy!  I always love it when a stamp set fills a need that I have in my personal stamping stash... it's like the ideas just keep coming and there's just not enough time to implement them all!  And there definitely hasn't been a lot of time around here, but I promise you you'll be seeing a lot of these sets in the months to come.
4 x 6 Week In Review Card

I've never been too much of a scrapbooker.  I never took pictures of myself and found there were only so many interesting ways to scrapbook a cat, so I just stuck with card making.  But now that I've got these two little guys in my life, it seems the camera is always clicking and I'm already starting to forget little things that happened in the last year.  So it's time to do a little memory keeping.  I decide on a mix of things including Project Life for it's ease and ability to do in short little bursts throughout the week.  For today's hop I made a 1/2 spread of the boys and also a couple Weekly title cards for future pages.  Used a couple of the sentiments from Remember This punched out with circle punches to highlight the boys' sleeping photos.

Project Life half spread

I used both Remember This and Calendar Countdown on the 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 cards I made for today and also used all but one of the 5 new die products...  Banner Bundle Die Set, Flag It Die Set, Starry Die and Scallop Trim Trio Die Set.  I'm not going into the how of every card, but if you have questions be sure to ask and I'll try to answer them tomorrow.

I've been using Project Life for the last couple of years...I'm trying digital this year for our family album, but my boy's albums are traditional scrapbooks. Love the layouts and journals you did for your beautiful boys Julee. Can't wait to see the full reveal!

Love the baby pics of the twins! Yep, I didn't get the scrapbooking bug until I had my boys... then realized cards were so much easier and am now totally behind in my scrapbooking. I find that most of the stamps are not geared toward scrapbooking (or more likely, I'm not creative enough to use them for scrapbooking!) so I am so excited about this new release! So thrilled your having twins is starting you back on scrapbooking and your new stuff can easily be used for it!!! Yay!
