Praying for You

Hi friends!  Whew... the week is flying by!  I've been busy trying to get caught up after our release of new products, but I thought I'd drop in and change up the scenery with a new card I made featuring the Praying for You Plain Jane.

My original concept for this card was clean, simple and masculine.  And everything was going according to plan until I saw this flower on the floor that just NEEDED to be used!  {grin}  So I girlified it with the flower and a little linen thread bow and a whole lot of shine spray for all sorts of shimmer.

The cross is cut with the Cross Die Set and I then stamped it with the Thatched Banner Plain Jane to give it a fun texture, then hand cut a mat for it.  Had a bit of fun with my paper crimper and the scor-pal and the card was done.  Pretty CAS for a CASS girl!  LOL  The sentiment is the new Praying for You Plain Jane and I embossed it with early espresso craft ink and clear embossing powder.

I hope you're having a great week!

I like the way you stamped the cross to give it texture. TFS

Hi Julee! Your cas cards are just as pretty as your layered all out cards. I love the brown cross with the blue and green. It just pops and the thatched stamp on top is perfect.

Love the texture you've created with both the crimper and by using the Thatched Banner on the cross, Julee! And yes, that flower just needed to be on this :)!

Loved this card when I saw it at the release party. You know I love crimping and the partially crimped sentiment panel is a brilliant idea!! Not to self to case in the future :) I can't WAIT to pop over the border and get my new goodies!! Should be here in the next day or so thanks to Katrina's/your wonderfully quick shipping and my US PO Box :)
