Thinking of You

Hi friends!  I'm popping in with a card I actually made last weekend as a sample for Mojo Monday 238, but today was the first little bit of time I had to take a photograph.  And, even at that, I didn't have time to set up my photo studio (which has been relegated to a closet as the guest room has seen much more use the past few weeks), so I apologize for the dark background.

As I mentioned, the inspiration for the card was from this week's Mojo sketch, although the tag called for in the sketch moved a bit on my card.  {grin}  The designer paper is from the French Kiss line from Glitz and I distressed each square with some ink and roughed up one edge.  The flower is made using the Joyful Blooms Die Set cut out of the designer paper, distressed with ink and layered on pop dots, with a button and twine center.  The sentiment is from the Joyful Blooms set and cut with the Ribbon Banner Die.  I used the same process Amber outlined in her Diva Dare post, to cut a thinner banner and coordinating mat, then clipped it on with a mini library clip.

Okay, as is the case pretty much 24/7 around here, I hear a boy screaming for attention, so I'm off to take care of that.  Hope you have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you next time!

Enabler's List:
Stamps:  Joyful Blooms (Verve Stamps)
Paper: French Kiss (Glitz), Crumb Cake (SU!), Cream
Ink: Antique Linen, Burshed Corduroy, Black (Ranger Distress)
Accessories: Joyful Blooms Die Set, Ribbon Banner Die (A Cut Above by VERVE), vintage lace trim, mini library clip, button, linen thread, paper distresser

oh, what a yummy banner!! Love that trick Amber shared! So happy to see a card from you and that you may be getting a little window here and there for stamping :) I hope those wee boys are giving you some peace...hugs to you and your little men (oh, and the big one too!)

I just love those flower dies, Julee! Can we get them for the larger flowers too.... ;)

Great use of the banner die - have yet to use mine - and loving the roughed up edges on the squares.
Gorgeous card as always.

Glad to hear you have some help with the boys and hopefully you are able to get some sleep. The first three months are rough, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, honest :)

Hugest of hugs to you and Mark and snuggle the little ones for me!
