Mojo Monday Week #58

Happy Monday Everyone! Thanks to everyone who played along last week. I've been so incredibly busy I haven't had a chance to comment on everyone's cards yet, but I promise I'll get to them. I hope you're ready for another week of mojo. This week is a simpler layout, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

My sample card uses the new Fright Night set from The Cat's Pajamas as well as a sentiment and flame from Havin' a Pow Wow. I started by stamping the cauldron and coloring the flames with Copic markers. Next I stamped the owl, colored with Copics and cut him out to perch him on the cauldron. I used my paper piercer to pierce a little border around the panel and then matted on black cardstock. The patterned paper is from the BasicGrey Ambrosia Collection, which I matted on black and adhered to the the white card base, piercing a line above and below the panel. Next I cut a circle with my Classic Circle Nestabilities, stamped the Sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and then stamped just the tip of the campfire from the same Havin' a Pow Wow set. I finished with some Stickles on the flames, some Diamond Glaze on the owl's eyes and a black grosgrain knotted bow.
