Mojo Monday Week #22

Happy Monday everyone! It's Monday again, so that means it's time for a little MOJO! This week's sketch is a fun one. It's great to use for a variety of looks. You can use a monochromatic color scale for a color blocked look, or you can mix it up and use some of those gorgeous scraps we all seem to have piled up in our stash.

So if you're feeling a little inspired, mosey on over to your craft area and cook up a little mojo! If you make a card with the sketch, just link me up in the comments of this post, so I can come check out your creation. If you've got your link to me by Sunday at 8 PM Mountain time (6 PM ET), I'll include it in the slide show next Monday. If you happen to upload to SCS, please use keyword Mojo22, so we can see everyone's mojoliciousness all in one happy place.

I kept my sample card pretty basic. I really love this paper collection called Silver Lining by We R Memory Keepers. I've been so COLD lately, that I just felt drawn to these warmer colors. For the card, all I used was stamps, ink, paper, scissors and a sponge. That's the bare essentials, gals! You can use any dimensions you want for the four strips, but for those of you that are into measurements, my panels are 1 x 4", 1 7/8" x 4", 1 3/8" x 4" and 5/8" x 4". Each panel is sponged with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. The orange paper is the back side of one of the printed papers, and I stamped the largest star from Polka Stars in Pumpkin Pie, trimmed with scissors, inked the edges and matted with Basic Gray cardstock. I did the same for the Emerson quote panel from Seeing Stars. Everything's matted on a 4.25 x 5.5" Basic Gray card base. Easy peasy!

And to start your week off right, here is the slide show with all of last week's mojo submissions. With the exception of Vicky G, whose link said the photo had been removed and Melissa D, who didn't leave a link and I couldn't find it on SCS. If you gals want to leave me a working link, I'll add your cards into the slide show. Thanks!

Hey Julee,
I didn't exactly follow your sketch...but this card was inspired from a scrapbook page I made that was inspired by your sketch! So I am giving you the original credit for the inspiration :) Here's the link:

Hi Julee!

I love your card and sketch! I had a bit of a problem using four panels and resorted to three instead. *sigh* My attempt at your sketch is on my blog:
