I can't believe I've already soared past 10,000 hits since I started this little old blog! To celebrate I'm having a little card contest. This contest will run until I hit 15,000 hits. All you have to do to enter is post a link as a comment on this post or email me a picture of a card you created using the sketch at right. It doesn't have to be a flower, but there must be something in the lower left corner. That's it. I'll pick my favorite and announce the winner after my blog counter reaches 15,000 hits. The winner will receive this adorable acrylic A Muse Animal Wishes stamp set! I can't wait to see what y'all come up with!
My sample card is probably one of the all-time favorite cards I've ever made. It's actually a very simple layout - as close to one layer as I get! I made it a while back as a submission for an LSS design team, but then chickened out and never ended up submitting anything. The quote is a Wordsworth sticker, all embellishments are Making Memories, the cardstock is Bazzill and the designer paper is Basic Grey.
There will also be RAKs for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Good luck everyone! On your mark, get set.....Go! :)

How adorable! I love that card, so bright and fun! Thanks for the blog candy give-a-way as well, so happy!
I love the flower cutout - is that a die cut or making memories? Love the sketch - sometimes the most simple t hings turn out the most elegant.
Oh, how I love that quote -- I offered it to some students at a graduation, once. Your card is lovely, and it is the contests' loss that you didn't enter it! Thanks so much for your blog. Love it!
Man, hurry up and get to 15,000 hits... I'm going to have to get working on my card. :)
