Hip to Be Square Mojo

Hi friends! It's the last Monday of the month, so we're going for a non-traditional shape with the Mojo Monday sketch this week.  It's hip to be square!

Handmade Christmas card by Julee Tilman featuring Verve Stamps. www.poeticartistry.blogspot.com

My card is a sneak peek of the new Angel Voices stamp set that releases from Verve this Saturday, October 1.  I paired it with some pretty My Mind's Eye papers and some glitzy gold die cuts to set things off.  This was a super easy 15 minute card, perfect for crunch time during the holidays.  :)  The angel is embossed in gold onto vellum and then I colored with Copics for a stained glass effect and cut with the coordinating Angelic Die Set.  The sentiment is also embossed in gold, then I simply sponged all my layers and glued them down, adding a bit of linen thread and a rhinestone to my sweet little angel tag.

Love the sketch and this card! The stained glass of the angel is so sweet, and it's encouraging to think that this was such a quick card---well for you, anyway! Love it! TFS!
