September Spotlight Hops - Day 1

Hi friends!  It's the start of release week for Verve and I'm so excited to share my new sets and dies with you!  The Divas will be sharing their first looks at our new sets all week long in a 5 day series of blog hops. I've really been admiring clean and simple cards lately, so that was my inspiration for this card featuring the Psalm 94:18 plain jane.  The verse is stamped onto sahara sand card stock, then matted with black and I added a bit of ribbon from the Polka Dot Basics Collection with a mini library clip.  My little accent is a peek at our new Build a Poppy Die Set.  Here I used it on its own and just doodled on each die cut piece, but it coordinates with a set you'll be seeing later this week.  The background is soft sky embossed with the hexagon folder from SU!
