My inspiration started with the May Week 2 Viva la Verve sketch by Charmaine. I just realized I left a panel off, but I just count it a victory that I was able to make a card with 2 newborns! {grin} The sun from Let it Shine is stamped once on the circle, then again on white paper, colored with Prismacolor pencils and cut out to pop up for some dimension. I used the Ribbon Banner Die to add the sentiment and then a little wide striped ribbon, black twin and a die cut border finish things off.

Very bold and uplifting. I have a ton of the Riding Hood Red striped ribbon, but every time I see you use the black, I wish I had a big roll of it, too! :)
ah, yes, bring on the sunshine!! It's trying to poke through here amidst the big diggers in our back yard digging a HUGE trench for our retaining wall!! My husband gets to pack dirt all day but I think he will love it....did you know that boys don't age past 8? LOL Just to let you know as your boys grow up! They love to play fight and play in the dirt!! At any age!! Let It Shine was one of my favourite sets :) Hugs to you and always happy to see you've been in the studio for a bit :)

Such a fun colour combo. The pinked circle is perfect for the sun and of course, I"m loving that wide, striped ribbon :) So good to see you were able to get a little crafty time in! We have a gloriously sunny day here, but after cooking for the youth retreat this weekend, not sure I have the energy to go out and enjoy it! My age is showing LOL!
