Mojo Monday 502

Hi friends! I'm so excited to be back sharing another Mojo Monday sketch with you. It was such a blessing to hear how much y'all wanted the sketches to return. Thank you to everyone who played along with the sketch, I was delighted peeking in at your lovely creations!

I've decided to post new Mojo Monday sketches every other Monday. That gives you more time to play, and me more flexibility in my schedule.  Win! Win!

Here's the sketch we'll be working with this round. Feel free to make that floral embellishment anything your heart desires.

Here's my sample card, using the beautiful Christmas Botanicals set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I colored the poinsettia and an extra leaf and berry sprig with Copic markers and fussy cut, then accented the berries with some clear glass glitter.  The greenery is cut with the Mini Holiday Greens die from Sizzix.  I stamped the sentiment panel with the music background from the  Textured Tiles 1 stamp set and then embossed the sentiment in the middle.  All of the papers are from the Old World Winter collection from The Paper Studio.

Brightly Shining

Hi friends! How's November treating you? I've been laid up in bed the past couple days with a nasty virus. I'm feeling a little more human this morning, so hopefully I'm on the mend!

Did y'all check out the October TCP release this week? If not, head on over and take a peek at the three new darling sets Alma designed.  Today I'm sharing another galaxy card I made with the Cosmic Christmas set and distress oxides.

PJ and his strand of Christmas lights is stamped onto smooth bristol and colored with Copics. I then masked him and did the galaxy background around him, at the same time as doing the galaxy background strip for the card.  When the background was done, I embossed the sentiment in white and then added a bunch of stars randomly across the panel.  I finished off with an embossed card base and some cord and jingle bells.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous start to your weekend!
