Hi crafty friends! It's the 10th of the month already and time again for the Not 2 Shabby Inspiration Giveaway Hop on YouTube. I'm sharing a fun little card that pops open into a bag that I saw originally on LeNae Creates' channel. It starts with a paper sack or greeting bag. I demonstrate how I made mine to fit a larger 7 x 10" greeting bag, then create a tag to go inside. You can watch the process below on the blog or on my YouTube channel.
The premise of the bag is to find the bottom flap of the bag and where the two sides meet at the first fold, measure up 3/4" and cut. Use a pull tab mechanism on the second flap which will open the bag when you pull on it. Then measure each panel you would like to decorate and subtract 1/4" from the length and width measurements to get a nice 1/8" border around your panel. Below is my finished project, along with a couple others I made with a paper lunch sack for the first one and a smaller greeting bag for the final project.
