Hi friends! I'm playing along with the This or That hop over on Instagram this week. Our theme is FUR or SCALES. I immediately thought mermaids for the scales and just had to take the chance to use some new EZ Printables from Linh at LV Handcrafted along with the new EZ Wonder Die #3 and Add On she designed for Not 2 Shabby. The dies officially release for pre-order on June 15 (just a few more days!) and you'll be able to pre-order them over at the N2S Store.
I started by cutting the EZ Wonder Die #3 from Down the Shore paper and then printing off the Mer May/Summer EZ Sentiments and the Beach Babes EZ Printable Bundle. I used the EZ #3 Add Ons for the teal mats and the sentiment. For the mermaid tail I hand trimmed around the image so the tail would pop outside of the postage grid, then lightly sponged with speckled egg ink. The girls are cut from the Beach Babes printable. I love how Linh designed everything to work together!
To finish off, I splattered a little "sea spray" with speckled egg, antique linen, and tea dye inks onto the card base, then layered on the postage grid die cut. I added all the collage elements to the grid, then added a Tim Holtz "daylight dreams" sticker.
