Hi friends! I'm popping in today with a little more inspiration using the March Box of the Month from Not 2 Shabby. I was in the mood to color, so I busted out my Copic markers and the sweet Berry Best Friends stamp set from this month's box.
I picked some colors to go with the large strawberry background paper from the Yummy Strawberry paper pad. I love the bold greens and red, and tied it together with the light blue paper from the same pad. Just because paper has a pattern on it already, doesn't mean you can't make it your own. Here I made a little blue sky background with some stormy sky distress ink and a cloud stencil. I then used some of the excess greenery from when I cut the strawberry paper down to die cut some grass and glued it behind and in front of my two sweet boys. This panel is popped up on dimensional foam and I tucked a colored strawberry underneath it.
I finished off with a sentiment from the set, stamped onto a die cut and then accented with some sparkly enamel dots. I just love this sentiment. It's Spring Break this week for the boys, and they sure are sweet and precious days spent together!
